Huh... There's a mistletoe right above you... That's weird, it's Decemb-- oh wait it isn't December in-game, but still! And look! There's a someone else stuck with you under there right now! And, of course, you both can't move until you kiss one another (Of course, not specifying where that kiss needs to happen).

[ he starts to turn and take a step, then pauses. he.. can't move his feet??? ]

Yeah, it's mistletoe. See the white berries? That's how you can differentiate it from holly. [ He snorts. ] I'll get one of the waste bins so you can just knock it in, that way we don't have to touch it much.

I mean, it could be a puzzle? Mistletoe has a lot of symbolic meanings, and in western culture people kiss under it.

Europeans are weird. [ blunt ] It's associated with fertility and vitality, but I'm not sure what started the tradition of kissing under it...

[Completely stuck, Shiho looks up at the mistletoe...then slowly looks back at him.]

[ He's oblivious as to what she's up to, so Kon's just left looking up at the mistletoe, reaching up to see if he can't touch it and maybe knock it down. ]

[ Holding his hands up, Jesus Christ please don't. He can't even flee and he doesn't want to lunge in to nab it in the event that it's engaged. ]

But don't they typically have red berries. Word is that there are plants with white berries further west, but I've not had a chance to see one for myself.

Yeah, that's a common mix-up. Holly is the red one, and has more pointed leaves.

[ Kon continues to squint up at them. ]

Mistletoe is the one with white berries. Definitely pretty common in the west - they hang it up around wintertime for a weird tradition.
