BUT FIRST, it's just amazing how you play the sassmaster. It's already hard enough finding someone who proactively plays him, and here he is, totally fashioning it up, and it's really cool to see. Cos we all love fashionable villains lbr.

Hahaha yes! I'm really glad people like his fashionable side, because it's something that I'm really playing up atm as he adapts to this world. He's the kind of person who does his best as his assigned role in life, and well, this world gave him this role and he'll do it. Perfectly.

For serious - I admire how much thought you put into Manfred, especially with how a rare character he is in RP! He definitely brings a different flavour to the RP. Adding to that, threading with you is a lot of fun, and it's always exciting to see how Manfred will react to Athena's antics. I hope that one day, they'll actually learn that they're from the same world and flip out (or be friends, who knows???).

Likewise! It's awesome to have the chance to play together properly. Manfred certainly is an, um, character, so it's great to know that people enjoy playing with him.

BUT. it's truly incredible how long and well you've sustained manfred! i was just marveling at this earlier as i read your post because it's not often you see people really commit to his type of character and it's amazing that you do! and you do it so well. your manfred is ridiculously ic and you're also really amazing at extrapolating on what we've seen in canon to have manfred like, exist on a day to day level. it's really impressive!

HONESTLY you're just fantastic at him and i'm so happy to be able to stalk. one day i'll be able to get cr with him that doesn't end in five comments but i also play really dicky people with no patience. :'| WE'LL SEE.

ahaha it might have been short but it was such a fun thread! i think what's helped keen manfred around for longer than i usually do is my choice of canon point; it's easier to play characters in panfandom games when they don't want to go home. he's a bit panicked and is doing his best to just be perfect in his new assigned role.

he is a bit of a difficult person to get cr with for the more impatient characters but i'm sure something will come up one day and we will MAKE IT HAPPEN :>

We haven't threaded as much as I'd like but your Manfred is super on point. As a crotchety old man surrounded by younguns of a future and present nature, you have his annoyances and curiosities down pat - which is amazing.

Yes! We definitely need to thread more; that's mostly my fault, I've been super absent the past month or two but I'm finally getting to being around more. I'm really glad that you think he's IC because it's actually something I wonder about times.

Other times I have so much trouble taking him seriously I throw my hands up in the air in despair :|b

Tash! I'm so very glad to have met you through this game. Like many others, I echo all of the kudos for taking a character like old Manfred, whom many would dismiss as unplayable, and just running with it. You breathe such life into him and help him feel so alive, like he's so much more than just the endboss of the first game. And you do it without even entering the vicinity of the trap that is woobifying villains. Manfred scoffs at any attempt to justify him! He just is. I love it... He's a jerk, and we're stuck with him, but at least he doesn't always have to act like a jerk.

I think I gushed more than intended there... but yes, I love how you try and do everything you can with a character whom others would see as limited, as a challenge that you pass with flying colors. And you're so nice and approachable OOCly as well. You're like the opposite of Von Karma, which is perfect for roleplay! I am glad for all of our threads and as said in that other comment, how you can bring about such awesome and unexpected moments.

You're a great person, and I'm glad to have you around again. I hope we have plenty of more great, great, horrifying times to come. <333

Aw, man, thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad that you don't think I woobify him in any way, because while I'm insanely interested in what makes him tick, I don't think any of it actually excuses his behavior. I'm a firm believer that everyone has the option of being a decent human being every day, and Manfred just looked at his choices and was like, 'bitch, please, I'm flawless'. (Is it obvious that I struggle to take him seriously at times...)

I'm also really glad that you think I'm approachable! I try my best with that because 90% of my muselist is cantankerous and I don't want people to think that I'm actually like that irl. (I'm sunshine and rainbows. Really!)

You deserve so many kudos for playing a character like Manfred and actually making it look fun! It's easy to play a serious character who never wants to do anything with anyone, but you actually put him out there and often in situations where he's out of his element and the results are gold!

If I had a lot more time, I would actually canon review the entire series and app Franziska because damn it, I really wanna be in the awesome Cerealia AA cast!!

'Manfred von Karma' 'serious character' ... that elicited a bit of a laugh from me, but yes, it's easy to just leave characters in the canon boxes that they came in but where would be the fun in that.

I hope you have that time one day, but even if not, we can continue having zany CR with your existing dudes :>

I JUST WANTED TO SAY I am so glad for Manfred and Sousei's first thread. It's so much fun to see them butt heads and clash and I know they won't get along at all, and it's hilarious. They're like oil and water, and I hardly ever get to play out relationships like this, so thank you so much.

And I'm super excited for them in this event, I know that no matter what happens, their CR is going to be absolutely hilarious.

I also wanted to say that I'm eternally in awe that you manage to play a character like Manfred in a game like this and do it so well, getting him out and about and making CR with him. YOU'RE GREAT and I'm super excited to play with you more!

I'm so glad you're enjoying our CR because I really am as well! Sometimes I'm a bit reluctant to get Manfred out and about and hassling people because I know not everyone's interested in that kind of stuff, so it's great to hear that people actually find it fun! :|b It's definitely making my transition back to the game after my stupidly long hiatus much easier.
