Mystery Science Theatre -3000

Welcome to Cerealia's latest attraction. In an effort to branch into other forms of entertainment, CERES has been slowly patching together films from various worlds to show in its brand new movie theater. So, grab a friend, sit back, and enjoy the newest batch of imported films with a nice bucket of popcorn. As you'll notice from the long line outside, it's the latest rage in the colony, and those tired of the same virtual battles in ViViD are eager to enjoy a little change in scenery.

For those eager to participate, you will find yourself being lead into the lobby by one of the many robotic theater employees. Showing today are five special films, and in the lobbies are various screens advertising them through the movie's digital avatar, Mnemosyne. Allow her to take you on a virtual tour of CERES' finest theatrical offerings.

(( P.S. no actual actors/actresses appear in any of the films. It's all done through advanced CGi-technology and voice acting. ))
"GOOD EVENING, MOVIE-GOERS. I AM MNEMOSYNE, YOUR GUIDE FOR THIS EVENING.

THEATER I
[ 00:00 ] MY PETITE EQUESTRIAN EXPERIENCE - RATED A

Advertised as a delightful tale of ponies discovering magic and friendship, this is a must-see! For adults that is. The ponies are killed within the first ten minutes, and then the rest of the run time is filled with a celebratory orgy of Roman-esque proportions. There are no mentions of ponies after the initial scene. They are neither seen nor mourned nor heard from. There are only naked, gyrating bodies as far as the eye can see.

If you manage to sit through the horror long enough, you will notice a certain something in between the moaning. Is that your face on one of the protags? Is it a beloved family member or a friend? You will find that spliced between the scenes are cherished and innocent childish memories now being soiled by passionate cries of pleasure. Enjoy the new memory, your poor, sweet summer child. This will only be visible to the viewer himself/herself.
THEATER II
[ 00:00 ] LARGE ADVENTURER 7 - RATED B

A touching tale of dealing with loss and more loss. This film is about a giant robot and his pet human that gets eradicated in the Third Robotic Genocide, leaving behind just a human carcass. The giant robot clings to the carcass and cries robotic tears until finally he chucks the carcass into a river full of carcasses and decides to go on a deep quest in search of cheese.

But spliced between this tale of woe, viewers will see images of themselves caught in a romantic memory. A first kiss, perhaps? A first love-making session? A first crush? A desired one will also have their face molded on top of all the carcasses as they flow away. This will only be visible to the viewer himself/herself.

THEATER III
[ 00:00 ] THE RETALIATORS: ERA OF RADICALON - RATED C

Agent Dick Angry takes it upon himself to assemble a team of miscreant aliens to invade the hell out of "Planet Earth." The aliens include Zorn, an intelligent toaster; Crisis, a blue-skinned beauty that turns purple when she's aroused; Trish, a rogue miniature ficus with a criminal record; and General Cerealia, a handsome, ripped man who beats evil-doers with his laptop and who looks suspiciously like CERES' programmer, Elias.

This adventurous romp will feature the tragic memories of death interweaving with the destruction of the "Planet Earth." Those who attend will see first-hand the memories of their own worlds slowly being demolished before their eyes and all their loved ones screaming in agony. Then it'll loop itself again and again for the last hour of the film. Enjoy! This will only be visible to the viewer himself/herself.
THEATER IV
[ 00:00 ] DECEASE HARDER II - RATED D

Jack McJack is a cop who is having none of your shit. In this action film, he will ride around on a velociraptor and go around punching evil-doers and detonating them with land mines. If you want all the violence in the world, this is the film for you. Watch as every second is filled with pointless explosions and every curse word in all the known languages in Cerealia.

Of course, spliced between every action scene will be every embarrassing moment of your life being played out for you and only you. Or is it? Start sweating and looking in every direction as you begin to wonder if everyone else can see that time you tripped and fell on your senpai almost kissing him (sacre bleu D= !)
BONUS - THEATER V
[ why:o'clock ] YARD-DOOR PEOPLE OF QUESTIONABLE MORALS - RATED Z

This is a touching film about tenderness and coming together to overcome obstacles and achieve greatness. The Yard-Door people run into danger when an evil megalord starts polluting the air with negative feelings. The Yard-Door people must band together and save the world through kindness. They will go and help their neighbors get across the street, rake up leaves from their lawns, donate canned food to the poor, and collect toys for children who do not have any.

While this film will draw tears from your eyes, you will see happy memories. The happiest that can be mustered. They will be spliced in with the scenes in the movie, occurring side-by-side with all the smiles and fuzzy feelings leaking off the screens. This will only be visible to the viewer himself/herself.

Also, beware! This film contains the angriest of Theater Cleaning Robots. Dropping anything on the floor will result in a bit of a flogging with a wooden paddle and a robot calling you a dirty slut and claiming that you like it. Yes, BDSM robots will not take your bad behavior. You better bend over and start apologizing for being such a filthy, little theater-goer.

hak | akatsuki no yona

one: lobby

[ Kouka is destroyed. Or, at least, that's what they told him; that everyone is dead, even his precious little princess. And yet he's here; here to try and restore Kouka to what it was, and bring back everyone in the kingdom. Even Soo-Won - though that guy's probably better off staying dead.

Some part of Hak believes that some of the others are still alive. If he's here, then they have to be. He's not giving up on Yona and the others just yet. They didn't mention anything about him being the only one here from his world, anyway. So, here he is in the lobby of the theater with his Yona senses activated, a bucket of this really yummy foreign substance (what was it called, popcorn?) in his hand as he feasts on it.

If you run into him, he'll be looking around at the different films that are happening. What are movies. This 'technology' is so confusing. ]

two: v

[ Hak went into the theater hoping to find someone from back home; instead, what he found were memories, flashbacks of happy times that don't seem as distant as they are. Traveling with his comrades, his childhood days with Soo-Won and Yona...all sorts of things play across the screen and Hak can't look away. He feels the nostalgia hit him but doesn't let it show, especially since there might be others in the theater.

But as he watches on, popcorn spills out of his bucket, without his knowledge - except it becomes his knowledge once a cleaning robot swivels on by and hits him with a goddamn paddle.

Oh boy, you weird looking human...you are messing with the Thunder Beast.

So...if you hear a lot of crashing and destruction going on in Theater V, well. Leave it to Hak to cause a commotion by destroying every Cleaning Bot who dares lay a finger on him. ]

( ooc note: hak is being taken directly from episode 12 for the tdm; when i apply, he will be taken from the latest episode! )

[ There is so many things wrong about this sight. For starters, Yoon can't believe he's seeing Hak right before his eyes. (Casually eating popcorn, no less.) After spending so many weeks here with only Ki-ja, Shin-ah, and Ao by his side; he's recently come to terms that they probably will not see Hak and the others for a while. Way to unconsciously step on his new-found resolve! Then again, it seemed very much like the Thunder Beast to do so. And whoa, it's not like he's about to cry from happiness or anything. Damn it!

After gaping for a few seconds, Yoon lets out a familiar "HAAH!?" noise; pointing at the tall General with the usual scowl across his (beautiful) face. He wastes no time to dash forward, wiping away whatever tears that built at the corner of his eyes. He pretends to look composed like always, which probably is a relief to see. It means that Yoon is okay, too. ]

You! Stupid exotic beast! Where on earth have you been!?

[ This would be the cue for Yoon to start his continuous nagging, but he resists for now. He really wants to hear Hak's answers right away. He stares at him eagerly, definitely sticking by his side until he's reassured that the General will not disappear from their side again. ]

[ For Hak, it hasn't been long since his arrival. Last he remembers, he was in a cave with the Princess, Yoon, and that stupid White Snake; he blacked out, and now...all of this crap about the world being destroyed? He'd be lying if he said he wasn't panicking but if Yona's here, if he can save her and the rest of his friends, he'll cut down anyone who gets in his way -

As soon as he's ready to head into the first theater, a familiar noise grabs his attention. Hak looks up and sees Yoon in front of him, tears in the corners of his eyes, and he knows that expression all too well. Yoon's been worried. But most importantly, Yoon is alive. The others...they must be okay, too. ]

I should be asking you that question.

[ He was honestly afraid that what had happened...was really true. That they all were gone, and he'd...he'd failed to protect them. To protect the Princess. Seeing Yoon takes a weight off of his shoulders, and he gives the younger boy a pat on the head.

But his guard isn't let down just yet. ]

Where's the Princess? And the White Snake?

[Like Hak, Yona had been interested in the movies, although by chance they had somehow managed to miss each other and end up in different theaters. So thankfully he hadn't needed to see her run out of the second theater, looking like she'd been crushed. She had intended to find a bathroom to clean up her face, but instead, found herself listening to the sound of a commotion from inside of theater five. It's obviously not from the movie itself - it didn't match the movie in question. So... wiping her face again just to make sure, she pushes her way inside of the theater. There's no way she can just ignore something like that.

And the scene she sees is... well, it's a fight between Hak and two of the cleaning robots.

At first she can't believe what she's seeing. For all she knew, she had arrived here along. Had Hak really been here all along? There's a flood of relief. Hak was here. The others were allowed to leave her side, but not him. On the other hand, if someone didn't stop him soon, things could get bad. Even though the robots were the ones with weapons, she knew that there was only one way that fight could end.

Taking a deep breath, she pushed inside and stepped between Hak and the robots.
]

Excuse me. I'll be taking him now. I'm sorry for the trouble he's caused.

[And without waiting for their answer, because she has no way of knowing what kind of response those guys would give-- she grabbed his wrist and as best as she could, dragged him out of the theater. So they could talk...]
fortheprincess: (stop wait a minute)

crying

[ Man, fuck these robots - just how many of them are there? They all seem to be coming at him as his popcorn continues to spill on the floor, throwing profanities at him left and right and it's pissing him off. He can take them out relatively easily with his blade, but they just keep coming; and maybe possibly leaving some bruises on him because dang, those paddles actually hurt.

Suddenly, the fight is interrupted, and Hak doesn't even have time to breathe before his body snaps around, reacting to the sound of her voice. ]

...Princess!

[ She's alive.

She's okay. She's here. And he can feel her touch to prove it. She's holding onto his wrist now, leading him out of the theater as the robots gather to watch behind them. Soon, they're walking through the doors and standing in the lobby once again

Hak eagerly examines her, top to bottom, checking for any injuries. He knew he shouldn't have left her by herself in that cave - couldn't leave it to the stupid White Snake to protect her - and he prays to King Il that she's unscathed. ]

Are you alright? [ A pause. His brow furrows, mostly out of concern, and then: ] I told you not to go in the cave without me!

[Who knows how bad the situation might have gotten if they'd stayed. With each additional robot that came at him, the mess just got worse. So rather than stay, Yona had felt like it would be better for everyone involved if they just left. Hopefully the machines would cool down and settle for cleaning up the mess, now that the culprit was out of their reach.

But she didn't even have time for a proper emotional reunion before Hak was yelling and all she could do was blink. Cave? ...what cave? She couldn't think of anything recently that made sense.

The moment she turned and saw that he was really here - that she hadn't be somehow separated from her - the inconsistencies and troubles earlier didn't matter. As long as he was here she didn't care about anything else.
]

Of course I am. You're the one who just got hit by all those... they didn't hurt you, did they?

[It didn't look like could do that much damage, but even so, she wanted to be sure.]
fortheprincess: (fill my cup put some liquor in it)

[personal profile] fortheprincess 2015-03-15 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
Of course not.

[ ...Okay, so they bruised a little. Big deal. Hak doesn't go down easily and he's been through much, much worse. Yona would know.

Hak's been worried sick about her from the moment he let them search for the Blue Dragon without him; when he'd entrusted her in the White Dragon's care. Just one more reason for him to tell Ki-ja to leave Yona to him instead. The scowl on his face doesn't disappear, even as he bends over to pull Yona in an embrace.

He didn't think that she'd be here. He thought he'd been alone and that he'd failed the Princess and all of Kouka by letting their world be blown to pieces; but some part of him had doubted it, and he's glad that he did. Yona's here, alive, breathing, unharmed. That's all that matters. The thought calms him, and as he holds her, he lets out a quiet sigh of relief.

He hadn't failed her. ]
