THEATER I [ 00 00 ]
MY PETITE EQUESTRIAN EXPERIENCE - RATED A
Advertised as a delightful tale of ponies discovering magic and friendship, this is a must-see! For adults that is. The ponies are killed within the first ten minutes, and then the rest of the run time is filled with a celebratory orgy of Roman-esque proportions. There are no mentions of ponies after the initial scene. They are neither seen nor mourned nor heard from. There are only naked, gyrating bodies as far as the eye can see.
If you manage to sit through the horror long enough, you will notice a certain something in between the moaning. Is that your face on one of the protags? Is it a beloved family member or a friend? You will find that spliced between the scenes are cherished and innocent childish memories now being soiled by passionate cries of pleasure. Enjoy the new memory, your poor, sweet summer child. This will only be visible to the viewer himself/herself.
THEATER II [ 00 00 ]
LARGE ADVENTURER 7 - RATED B
A touching tale of dealing with loss and more loss. This film is about a giant robot and his pet human that gets eradicated in the Third Robotic Genocide, leaving behind just a human carcass. The giant robot clings to the carcass and cries robotic tears until finally he chucks the carcass into a river full of carcasses and decides to go on a deep quest in search of cheese.
But spliced between this tale of woe, viewers will see images of themselves caught in a romantic memory. A first kiss, perhaps? A first love-making session? A first crush? A desired one will also have their face molded on top of all the carcasses as they flow away. This will only be visible to the viewer himself/herself.
THEATER III [ 00 00 ] THE RETALIATORS: ERA OF RADICALON - RATED C
Agent Dick Angry takes it upon himself to assemble a team of miscreant aliens to invade the hell out of "Planet Earth." The aliens include Zorn, an intelligent toaster; Crisis, a blue-skinned beauty that turns purple when she's aroused; Trish, a rogue miniature ficus with a criminal record; and General Cerealia, a handsome, ripped man who beats evil-doers with his laptop and who looks suspiciously like CERES' programmer, Elias.
This adventurous romp will feature the tragic memories of death interweaving with the destruction of the "Planet Earth." Those who attend will see first-hand the memories of their own worlds slowly being demolished before their eyes and all their loved ones screaming in agony. Then it'll loop itself again and again for the last hour of the film. Enjoy! This will only be visible to the viewer himself/herself.
THEATER IV [ 00 00 ]
DECEASE HARDER II - RATED D
Jack McJack is a cop who is having none of your shit. In this action film, he will ride around on a velociraptor and go around punching evil-doers and detonating them with land mines. If you want all the violence in the world, this is the film for you. Watch as every second is filled with pointless explosions and every curse word in all the known languages in Cerealia.
Of course, spliced between every action scene will be every embarrassing moment of your life being played out for you and only you. Or is it? Start sweating and looking in every direction as you begin to wonder if everyone else can see that time you tripped and fell on your senpai almost kissing him (sacre bleu D= !)
BONUS - THEATER V [ why o'clock ]
YARD-DOOR PEOPLE OF QUESTIONABLE MORALS - RATED Z
This is a touching film about tenderness and coming together to overcome obstacles and achieve greatness. The Yard-Door people run into danger when an evil megalord starts polluting the air with negative feelings. The Yard-Door people must band together and save the world through kindness. They will go and help their neighbors get across the street, rake up leaves from their lawns, donate canned food to the poor, and collect toys for children who do not have any.
While this film will draw tears from your eyes, you will see happy memories. The happiest that can be mustered. They will be spliced in with the scenes in the movie, occurring side-by-side with all the smiles and fuzzy feelings leaking off the screens. This will only be visible to the viewer himself/herself.
Also, beware! This film contains the angriest of Theater Cleaning Robots. Dropping anything on the floor will result in a bit of a flogging with a wooden paddle and a robot calling you a dirty slut and claiming that you like it. Yes, BDSM robots will not take your bad behavior. You better bend over and start apologizing for being such a filthy, little theater-goer.

From my understanding, movies are moving pictures meant to be enjoyable..?
[ not that his understanding is thorough by any means. in some ways, he probably would've been better off learning all of this from scratch instead of getting bits and pieces over the years as the world changed around him. ]
no subject
[Probably. Beats him, he doesn't watch a lot of movies, despite having been here for awhile. More importantly--]
However, this place has a way of distorting what they offer to be something else entirely.
[Take it from him, it's gonna suck.]
I would not trust them.
no subject
[ his brows draw together as he glances back to the booth, fingers curling loosely over the pommel of his blade as he considers the comment. this stranger is certainly more familiar to him than the situation he's found himself in, at least. but the thought that they can't trust these people claiming to be fighting to fix things is.. distressing.
he shifts, giving sousei his full attention once more. ]
Perhaps I'll avoid them, then. .. Does this organization not intend to assist us..?
no subject
[Sousei crosses his arms. He's not alarmed at the situation (there are no screams, giant bugs, or killer robots yet) but...he also doesn't trust it.]
However, they have also sent robots after us with the intent to kill us, have trapped us in areas with ghosts, and have caused us harm and difficulty in numerous other, smaller ways.
[...]
You may and should draw your own opinions about their intentions for us, but trusting them too simply would be foolish.
no subject
his lips lift a little, not quite a smile, the slightest bit sad. ]
Ah, well, in the end, my opinion only matters if it is the same as my owner's. [ a brief pause, then, looking a little flustered. ] Though.. none of them seem to be here, so I'm not entirely certain what that means for me. [ is he meant to belong to the entire organization now? he supposes that's not so different from belonging to the japanese government. ]
no subject
Your owner.
[What does that even...... what.]
no subject
he shifts to lay the blade at his hip across his arms for inspection, expression faintly apologetic. ]
I am the Samonji blade, called Souza, carried by those who wish to rule all under heaven. [ a small smile that doesn't quite reach his eyes. ] A sort of tsukumogami, if you like.
no subject
Sousei doesn't have a hat to remove to show his respect at the moment, but he does lay a hand over his heart, even if he's not the sort to bow.]
It is an honor to meet you.
My name is Abe no Sousei. [So yeah, he's familiar with tsukumogami--he'd have to be, to be from such a famous exorcist family.]
no subject
the name, though, amazes him. he's belonged to some of the most famous people in their history, but he's never so much as met anyone from abe no seimei's family. ]
The honour is mine. [ he lowers his arms, replacing the blade at his hip. ] I had not thought to meet someone here from such an esteemed family.
no subject
...There are many odd sorts trapped in this city.
[including descendants of abe no seimei.]
Most won't mean you any harm. [their captors, on the other hand... who knows about them.] But wariness is nonetheless wise.
no subject
he lifts a hand, tucking a few bright strands of hair behind an ear, small smile returning. ]
I'm very grateful for the warning. [ in the end, though, he could just as easily be claimed by someone cruel. ] I am meant to be used, though. .. Owned, at the very least. [ he tilts his head slightly, curiousity flickering into the mismatched gaze. ] I must admit to being somewhat surprised that your own blade doesn't seem to be.. like me. [ one would think if anyone's would be, it would a member of the abe family. ]
no subject
... Yes. It is not like you, that is correct. [He's never met a sword like him, to be fair!! He lifts it, offering it up for Souza to see.]
It is nonetheless an Abe family heirloom. [It's ~holy~ or something like that, who knows....
He's still more focused on what to do about the "swords need to be owned and used" thing. How to keep him safe...?]
no subject
he seems surprised by the offer to inspect the blade, then hesitantly steps closer, slender fingers brushing the guard, following down the length of the blade, expression softening. ]
.. He's lovely. And sacred. It's a shame that we cannot meet him properly yet. [ he glances back up, smile returning, warmer than before. ] It seems as if he's served your family well.
no subject
Sousei has always taken good care of his sword--he may have been tossed aside by the Abe family, and the Abe family may have done despicable things in the past, but that is hardly the sword's fault--it has always protected them, and sealed away the Orochi.
But nonetheless, there's something strange to hear his sword referred to as "he". As if, perhaps, he has not treated the blade with as much respect as it deserves, even knowing that he has done his best to live up to the family name and the sword as well.
Hm.]
...He has. [If the sword is a he, the sword is a he--nobody would know better than another sword, clearly.] For that, I am grateful. Without this sword, much would be lost.
[That much is certainly fact.]
no subject
he lifts his fingers away once more, and they move almost unconsciously to the mark on his chest, hidden beneath his clothing. sometimes, it aches, a phantom pain-- remembering the moment it had been carved into him. ]
.. I'm glad. I'm glad that he's been of use. It's-- Most of the time, it's all we really want, to be of use to our owners.
no subject
But this allows him the chance to segue into his concerns.]
That is admirable--but there are many here who do not understand the bushido way of thought.
[He doesn't want Souza to end up picked up and used by someone who doesn't understand a sword's worth, even if he himself is from a time post-samurai.]
You may not find someone worthy of wielding you here.
no subject
.. I know. [ and even if he does, he's the samonji blade. he's worth more as a symbol, kept caged like some kind of exotic bird.
he folds his hands together, nearly white-knuckled as he takes a deep breath. ]
But.. there's nothing.. that I can do about that, not truly. It isn't my place to protest the one that lays claim to me. [ he hesitates, then digs up a small smile, letting it curve onto his mouth. ] I'll try to be cautious, though. It's kind of you to be concerned for my sake.
no subject
He crosses his arms, inspecting Souza thoughtfully for a moment.
Souza seems too resigned, but judging by those white-knuckled hands, he's not happy about it.]
I won't allow it. [He has absolutely no right to decide for such a famous sword who's going to be wielding him, his heritage aside (which he doesn't really claim anyway) but... he can't let it happen.]
If there is someone who will treat you properly as a sword and a person, then that is fine. Anything else is unacceptable.
no subject
he starts at the proclamation, eyes widening in surprise. he could understand were sousei to lay claim, himself, or were he to express concern about what someone might do with souza in their hands.. but this is different. this is a concern for souza personally, and he's.. not really used to that.
he finds his face heating, and he ducks his head to obscure it, hands tightening around one another again. ]
You-- You truly needn't concern yourself--
no subject
[He knows that he's not required to do this, and that there's no need for him to concern himself with it. He knows that it's not his responsibility, not his family name's responsibility--there is nothing connecting him to this sword-turned-youkai.
Except.
There are not that many people here familiar with their way of life. Sousei's task is to defend Japan from threats--that means all things Japanese, including citizens and swords of Japanese make. So in a way, it is his responsibility, and it is his duty, and he takes that sort of thing very seriously.]
Regardless, I will do so. [A pause, and he arches a deliberate eyebrow at Souza.] Unless there are objections?
no subject
slowly, warmth blooms on his features again, and he shakes his head once. ]
No. I have no objections. Thank you, ah-- [ a little cautiously: ] --forgive me, but how would you prefer to be addressed? [ given his family name, he can understand why he might or might not want to be called by it. it's quite famous, after all. ]
no subject
Sousei will just...keep an eye on him, and whoever decides they're good enough to wield him.]
Sousei is fine.
[He's right that Sousei doesn't tend to care much for being addressed by said family name, though probably not for the reasons he is thinking. And then, a slight incline of his head.]
And Souza is acceptable for you?
no subject
Yes, Souza is fine. I have two brothers, so.. [ a soft hum of laughter. ] Even though I'm the one generally known as the Samonji sword, it can get a bit confusing at home being called that.
[ he can only hope that kousetsu and sayo are okay. .. the others and the sage as well, of course, but especially his brothers. ]
no subject
I see.
[Swords with siblings... maybe crafted by the same person? He's not sure. There's a lot he doesn't know about all of this, really, but as curious as he is, there are more important things.]
Then the first order of business is seeing if your brothers are here. [He knows Tenka... he knows how this family thing goes.] What are their names and appearances?
no subject
[ he's still getting used to all this modern technology. still.. it would be nice to be able to confirm one way or another. he's trying very hard not to think about sayo being alone here somewhere.. ]
Ah.. Kousetsu is taller than I am, with long, pale blue hair and blue eyes. He's an uchigatana like I am. [ he gestures to around chest-height on himself. ] Sayo is a tanto. About this tall, with darker blue hair he keeps tied back and blue eyes like Kousetsu's. He usually has bandages. [ a small, fretful sigh. ] .. He's unfortunately prone toward injury..
