Oona works as a stripper/dancer too so obVIOUSLY THEY SHOULD TALK... She's a mermaid and she hates humans with a violent stabbing passion (but tricking them out of their money is just as satisfying apparently).

She likes talking about her fellow mermaids and culture so superior to humans OBVIOUSLY so it'd be super fun/interesting I think. Probably he'd just remind her a lot of Tenka like jfc.

OH YES PLEASE omg he's a big sailor type so he'd love to meet a real mermaid!! he'd love to hear all about her and her culture and everything he'll just moon at her with his chin in his hands and be so intent. he'll even agree that humans stink and generally suck tbh so hopefully they can be almost friends!
