✩ What is the character currently up to in Cerealia?; Living with Tenka (sunshrouded) unfortunately. Trying to get caught up on modern technology and failing. Being a paranoid killjoy about this entire situation. Possibly poking at ViViD more WE'LL SEE.

Also he's the kendo instructor at the gym, so people should definitely run into him there.

✩ Any particular friendships they've made in Cerealia so far? Who with?; Tenka's his partner, obviously. Aside from that, he's met a lot of people, but doesn't have anything super solid yet. It doesn't help that he's the sort of person who takes awhile to start trusting people, and would rather stand on his own than lean on people he doesn't trust. Sensible people like Hinata and Mitsuru and Taka and the Shinsengumi are on his radar for obvious reasons, though.

✩ What is the character currently up to in Cerealia?; Shinpachi works as a car mechanic so you can.. imagine how well that goes.. he'll probably steadily get better when he settles a little more but for now it's just a mess. If you ever hear cursing and see smoke appearing from the car shop YOU KNOW WHO IT IS... aside from that he mostly hangs out with his friends a lot. Recently he's been a little more withdrawn since one of his friends died but he'll get over it. Somehow.

Who with?; Of course there's his original Shinsengumi buddies from back home, including his practically-husband and practically-son.. he's pretty much attached by the hip to the former no matter how much they deny it, and the latter's probably dragged along a lot now too after The Incident. He has some of his friends from Zelien here too like Rei and Leanne, the latter being like.. almost his girlfriend if Shinpachi wasn't as dumb as a brick when it comes to that stuff. HE'S ALSO MAKING SOME NEW FRIENDS BUT.. THERE'S ALWAYS ROOM FOR MORE.. Shinpachi is ridiculously social.


✩ What kind of CR are you hoping to build/future plans?; Of course the obligatory any.. but in Shinpachi's case it's more just that I have such a wide pool of cr including people whose guts he hates (get oUT KAZAMA AND KAORU...) that there really isn't any hole left to fill. Just come to Shinpachi's muscled arms and let him love you. Obviously. The only thing I'm not really looking for is shippy stuff since he has a.. thing... already.. if you can even call it a thing. He doesn't know it's a thing.

Despite the fact that he's not too amazing with social stuff (partially because he looks about 10,000 times as intimidating as he really is) it's a way to make cr if you want it.. come to me, friends. He's constantly stuck on wondering how he suddenly got surrounded by anime everywhere and lives with his best friend and is constantly either hanging out with him or getting texted by him.. they're practically married.. (do you see a theme forming here with my characters.)

✩ Any particular friendships they've made in Cerealia so far? Who with?; Not.. really.. of course he's best friends with Nam Soon but that was something that already existed before this place happened. He's talked to quite a few people but there's no one else he's particularly close to.

✩ What kind of CR are you hoping to build/future plans?; Anything, really...!! Heung Soo - despite looks and lack of social abilities, although he's not as bad as certain other people.. - is actually a huge mother hen deep down and has huge trouble with leaving people alone when they need help. I'd love to do more stuff with that, so if you need some intimidating-looking high schooler to look after you, I have good news for you, friend.

He's going to work at the cosplay cafe though as a crossdresser.. perfect.. and he's probably also going to play a lot of ViViD since it's a game where he gets to kill stuff what could ever be more fun.

✩ Any particular friendships they've made in Cerealia so far? Who with?; Since he just arrived, nothing yet! Who knows if he'll make a lot of friends since he's such a demon shirtlord baby... but.. you know.. Kaoru's his not!descendant though so he's stuck with him by default huehuehue

✩ What kind of CR are you hoping to build/future plans?; With Shuu it's really easy to make either really strong positive or really strong negative CR depending.. he's very much like a kid and quickly decides if he does or doesn't like people, and he's an absolute shitlord to the latter category.. but on the other hand, he's capable of genuinely liking people and being friends with them if you manage to get to that point so g... ood luck...?? He has a bias against humans so those will have a harder time, but hey. It's not impossible. You just need to be able to put up with a mentally five year old.

Also by god someone babysit him already before he blows up a building.

✩ Character Age; 26 the last time he was in his canon home world, but he turned 27 while at soul_campaign. So, 27.
✩ Character Canon Point Info; He's after Ace Attorney Investigations 1, the only AAI Capcom bothered to localize, and was taken from SC shortly before he was finally able to return home. PERFECT TIMING, CEREAL. His CRAU is a pretty long story (over a year) but let's narrow it down to the important points:
- He's more laid-back and sliiiiightly less likely to nitpick and question everything. Edgeworth will still investigate things and rely on evidence and all that jazz, but he will be more accepting of super advanced technology and magic.
- He can fight. Pretty well. Much of what I've been doing in this game is that, I'm sorry. His favorite weapon is a sword but he can also fight barehanded.
- He has powers. Supernaturally persuasive speaking and the ability to project his soul energy into a physical attack a.k.a. like a taser.
- He was actually one of the top-ranked Meisters in Death City at his current CRAU point and created a Death Scythe.
- He has closure. But don't expect him to open up to just anyone or tell them about how he met his dad this one time and had a good cry and told good ol' Gregory everything.
- Since he did almost all of his fighting with a partner, he learned all about ~teamwork~ and ~trust~


✩ What is the character currently up to in Cerealia?; Investigating all the things. Sulking because he can't be a lawyer and is stuck being the secretary at the police department for now. Honing his combat skills now that he knows he can't be out of practice here. Did I mention investigating errything? Waiting for ViViD to come out with a samurai game so he can finally get into it

✩ Any particular friendships they've made in Cerealia so far? Who with?; He wouldn't call them friends per se at this point just yet, so I'll just rattle off people he's taking note of in particular. He finds it intriguing that Integra and Ruby seem to know him to some degree despite him never running into them in SC. Um, Hinata and Komaeda have his respect for stocking up on supplies and doing Anti-Murder Club during the clown thing, and he joined up with them there, sorta. Yang just makes him think OH NO NOT ANOTHER HYPER TEENAGE GIRL but she's a great fighting bro. I, uh, need to tag out more I'M SORRY

I want him to be friends with people since he's a wee bit less aloof and less grumpy (but still is), tick people off with his skepticism and how super logical he is and how much of a stuck-up jerk he is, be hit on by the ladies, be dragged into trying ViViD and having fun, police/patrol stuff because he's with the police, rivals, enemies, etc. I WANT IT ALL.

I will be putting a permissions post up soon because Dahlia is actually a horrible woman who has even done a couple of very triggery things.


✩ What kind of CR are you hoping to build/future plans?; I don't want Dahlia's true personality revealed to the entire of Cerealia just yet. I want it to be a gradual thing. If you have a character who's not easily fooled but has a reason not to warn everyone about her though, that's fine!

ALSO AT SOME POINT ALTHOUGH IT'LL TAKE MONTHS OF CR? I want Dahlia to actually learn to care about someone. She's had a pretty shitty childhood which has made her very bitter and selfish and feel completely justified about not caring about anyone at all. In fact, I think she's pretty lonely deep down but doesn't realise that. If there's a character whom she can have months of CR with who can actually deal with her true personality, it's possible to get her to eventually care about them. I don't think Dahlia will ever become a nice person but I don't see why it's impossible to get her to eventually be a little tsun over someone. As in a "You nearly got killed you idiot!" way.

Sano works at Victoria's Secret (or whatever we're calling the lingerie store) because he likes making women happy noT BECAUSE HE'S A PERVERT SHUT UP SHINPACHI. He also may or may not have broken his alcohol fast with Tenka's recent offer. Boy needs booze. Boy needs booze for multiple reasons, the biggest being that Heisuke got himself killed in the murder spree event and that was Not Okay. Another reason being he has weird feelings concerning Chizuru and what the fuck is he supposed to do with these feels. He also is kinda sorta playing matchmaker for Shinpachi. Say what you will, Sano's a pretty cool wingman.

✩ Any particular friendships they've made in Cerealia so far? Who with?; Uhhhhhh, none really yet because...I kind of suck. Yeah. He's talked to a handful of people outside of the Shinsengumi and previous cr, so that's always a possibility when it comes to makin' frands.

✩ What kind of CR are you hoping to build/future plans?; The "anything!!11!" answer is really lame. If accurate. But still lame. But that being said, I'd really love for kickass, warrior ladies to eventually confront him on his whole "a batttlefield is no place for a woman" spiel. He's got a good heart! He just needs someone to open his eyes a bit. I'm also completely open for some lady to maybe eventually in the future after a lot of stubbornness and huffing to possibly be all romantic. And stuff. Yeah. And then there's the whole negative CR thing, which would always be fun. Sano doesn't really have a huge, huge villain in his route (Unless you include that dastardly fiend, Communication), so anyone that could be a thorn in his side would be awesome.

He's died and gone temporarily insane, among other bad things, so he's developed a finely honed sense of paranoia about jamjars and the corporations who run them.


✩ What is the character currently up to in Cerealia?; Eternally working through awkward feelings with his BFF, and playing mom to the entire Shinsengumi because someone has to be sensible and make sure everyone eats their vegetables. Hijikata was supposed to rope him into working for the police force, which I...assume has happened by now, too! :|a

✩ Any particular friendships they've made in Cerealia so far? Who with?; He's mostly close to his home team. GOOOO WOLVES OF MIBU. He's also got a friendship with Rei dating back to EV, in which she kind of bullied him into accepting her help with his vampire problem. He's teaching Leanne to cook because it happened and he's rolling with it, he likes Mitsuru's sense of sensibleness and would like to subscribe to her newsletter.


✩ What kind of CR are you hoping to build/future plans?; I like everything, though a lot of his crosscanon is with the ladies so he could use some more dudes to hang with. (Although most of his canon CR is dudes, so maybe that's just life balancing out.) Other honorable dorks do especially well with him, I would love some of that.

✩ Character Canon Point Info; I'm taking Tenten from right after chapter 699, which is to say, after the war, but before the epilogue takes place. So a couple days after surviving an attack on her entire way of life. (Ninjas...)


✩ What is the character currently up to in Cerealia?; Tenten has literally just arrived! She selected the job of 'massage therapist' after exiting from ViViD without any real idea of what that entailed. So she's going to be (attempting) to give massages as her form of employment. She has the basic theories of how that should work, but not exactly any formal training beyond what she'll get on the job, so expect overly-forceful massages that are probably more painful than relaxing.

✩ Any particular friendships they've made in Cerealia so far? Who with?; None of note yet! Her lone canonmate is Naruto, though, and everybody loves Naruto.


✩ What kind of CR are you hoping to build/future plans?; I am literally open to any/all CR, positive or negative. I joined this game looking for something that would provide lots of opportunities for a good mix of things to do, so if you're looking at flirting with Tenten, fighting with her, or just hanging out, I am good with it!
