Inaba thinks that Merlin is a nice person and someone who might be trustworthy?? Then again her trust issues have pretty much been pushed onto CERES and not everyone else because most of the people in Cerealia are decent enough? She does want to get to know him outside of work, tho.

Angelo finds Himeko cute but he can obviously tell she loves trolling. He likes her sass and hopefully can one day get her in bed with him like any other girl in this city. For now, he'd like to get to know her better.

But so far, Yusuke thinks he's a pretty solid guy! It's clear that they have the same viewpoint on their situation in Cerealia (which is basically ALL THESE GUYS SUCK, EVERYTHING SUCKS), but having someone who's upfront with how things are here and willing to help despite... interesting first appearances (Leon gets points for not making too much fun of his demon hair) is nice! Basically, Leon's cool in his book, and they need to get around to that city tour he promised him, since hanging out/bumming around the city like the dumb teenage boys they are is a necessity

Mabel seems like a kid with lots of charm and spunk in his book! In a sense, she's a little like Botan, but with less tendency to tease and scold and more likely to run headlong into something without thinking (like... jumping out of a tree without a second thought and messing up her feet), which is probably why he likes her!! Because impulse buddies, heck yeah!!! However, because she's young and definitely not spirit powered in anyway (never mind he started his own adventures when he was only a year older than she was), he's kind of... lowkey protective of her, in a big brother sort of way?? Her brand of optimism and energy is a nice breath of air in this place, so he doesn't really want anything bad to happen to her to make her lose any of that.also he still hasn't connected the dots about Dipper and Mabel being twins S I G H
Takeru is also a really good kid! Honestly, it's hard for Yusuke to hate youngins unless they're bratty and obnoxious, and so far Takeru has proven to be a really genuine and pure-hearted person! The Digimon stuff is still pretty weird (why does it talk?? is it a Spirit Beast or isn't it?? why are these potatoes so complicated), but if it means a lot to him, Yusuke's not going to knock it. It's just nice to have a kid (or anyone) say something is cute and be excited over something as silly looking as Puu and mean it in a non-teasing way, ahahaha |D One of these days, they DO have to have a ViViD session together, though, just so he can see the potato's evolved form and see why Takeru keeps hyping it up so much.
