And in lighter news...

Ask Me Anything/IC Anon!

We've all seen how this works: everyone has a story and weird experiences, and everyone wants to know about them! Now's your time to ask, share and learn everything you've ever wanted to know (and then some.)

How to Play

1.) Post with your character with a subject line describing themselves
e.g. "I'm a college student moonlighting as a superhero AMA"
2.) Watch the questions come as other characters respond to yours either as themselves or as anon!
3.) Questions can be about the character themselves, about things they've done in game, etc. Be creative!
4.) Try to answer truthfully, you crazy kids. Meme rules/meme magic/etc etc.
5.) Obligatory "have fun" rule here!

Ask a hero who hates heroes anything!

[personal profile] swordboning 2016-02-07 10:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Alternately, ask an expert faker anything.
bloodbiter: (on a scale of one to stupid)

[personal profile] bloodbiter 2016-02-07 10:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Why do you hate heroes?
swordboning: (pic#8713735)

[personal profile] swordboning 2016-02-07 10:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Because they're all hypocritical to the core? I could start with that, to make things simple.
bloodbiter: (squeaking wards off the evil spirits)

[personal profile] bloodbiter 2016-02-07 10:23 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't see why that's necessarily the case.
swordboning: (wading in shit creek)

[personal profile] swordboning 2016-02-07 10:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Would you not say that a hero's goal is to save everyone?
bloodbiter: (the dreaded theater anus)

[personal profile] bloodbiter 2016-02-07 10:26 pm (UTC)(link)
No, not necessarily. Saving as many people as possible, that would be a worthy hero's goal, but I would imagine most heroes wouldn't be unrealistic enough to assume that they could personally rescue every person who might be in need of it.
swordboning: (saber pls)

[personal profile] swordboning 2016-02-07 10:29 pm (UTC)(link)
I wasn't speaking of idiotic heroes. Still, if a 'hero' had the power, they would save everyone, wouldn't they? Even at the cost of themselves?
bloodbiter: (i gave you food and you gave me bees)

[personal profile] bloodbiter 2016-02-07 10:30 pm (UTC)(link)
I imagine so.
swordboning: (wading in shit creek)

[personal profile] swordboning 2016-02-07 10:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Do you not see the problem there? Allow me to explain.

If you can't even save yourself, you have no business trying to save others. No, it's just indulging your own conscience, being selfish with your own life.

Not to mention that if you break it down into bare numbers, it's inefficient. If you sacrifice a hundred to save a thousand and continue to live to save more people, is it not better than dieing to save a thousand and one hundred? Yes, I'll admit that it's a grim way to look at it but reality was never bright.

What kind of cook doesn't even eat his own food? [ KEEPING IT REAL HERE. ]
swordboning: (pic#8713745)

[personal profile] swordboning 2016-02-07 10:23 pm (UTC)(link)
The kind who prefers to watch other people enjoy the food because he can't appreciate it himself.

[personal profile] codere 2016-02-07 10:25 pm (UTC)(link)
If you can't appreciate it yourself, what makes you think other people should? Relying on them to make you feel better... geez, it's selfish.

That narcissism of yours doesn't fit a hero's personality at all either.
swordboning: (idiots 'r' u)

[personal profile] swordboning 2016-02-07 10:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Someone like you doesn't have a lot of room to talk about narcissism. Besides, I'd say I'm more self-hating in the fashion that I've described it.

[personal profile] codere 2016-02-07 10:32 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Hey now, she embraces it. ] I'm only saying that it's selfish to rely on the enjoyment of others instead of learning to enjoy things yourself. What happens when there's no one left?

Then you'd just be even more miserable to be around and I can't stand the thought of that.
swordboning: (mfw everything)

[personal profile] swordboning 2016-02-07 10:36 pm (UTC)(link)
The thought of me being more miserable than I am now is horrific? How so? Does it make you sick or angry?

[personal profile] codere 2016-02-07 10:38 pm (UTC)(link)
This isn't Ask Tohsaka How She Feels, Archer. [ GRUMBLE GRUMBLE.

Maybe a little.

No one is stopping you from making your own "Ask an angry terrorist how she feels about things" post.

So you're saying you hate yourself then?
swordboning: (pic#8713749)

[personal profile] swordboning 2016-02-07 11:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Wouldn't that be incredibly obvious?

(Anonymous) 2016-02-07 11:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Then why bother being a hero?

When you make bad decisions in your past, sometimes, they can't be taken away.

(Anonymous) 2016-02-07 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
You could just stop being one, couldn't you?
swordboning: (pic#8713738)

[personal profile] swordboning 2016-02-07 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)
No, I can't. Like I said, bad decisions will haunt you forever.

(Anonymous) 2016-02-07 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Why can't you?
swordboning: (wading in shit creek)

[personal profile] swordboning 2016-02-07 11:34 pm (UTC)(link)
It's the nature of the world. I'm not giving a college thesis on the topic when that answer is the actual answer.
