ugh

so jaune is hawke's greatest friendship mistake. she likes jaune! he's... you know, himself. has a certain charm about him. but she also feels what some would call indigestion whenever they talk. is that because of him or because she's feeling care for another human being, who knows! hawke doesn't. still, she does feel pretty sibling-y towards him. she wants him to do well! she wants to help him do well!! and he's pretty different than carver so it's a nice palate cleanser when it comes to "hawke's relationship with teenagers".

as of right now, she's flips between heavy sighing or dismissive shrugging when it comes to her emotions on jaune. they should probably hang out again soon, really make that headache of hawke's even worse. if she's honest with herself though, hawke would probably feel... disappointed? if jaune left cerealia. she does enjoy his company and hearing about the shit he gets up to is super entertaining. he's not on the list of her closest ever cerealia bros but he's important to her in a "you've become a fixture of my life here" type of way.

also, if jaune wasn't around, who would she terrify with violence and inappropriate innuendo?
