BECAUSE IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR

Mistletoe Meme
Huh... There's a mistletoe right above you... That's weird, it's Decemb-- oh wait it isn't December in-game, but still! And look! There's a someone else stuck with you under there right now! And, of course, you both can't move until you kiss one another (Of course, not specifying where that kiss needs to happen).

[Right, scared! Definitely not interested. That didn't sound interested, did it? Or maybe it was? Leon rubs the back of his neck, bright red by now, all the way to his ears.
What would it be like to see William "scared," he wonders, knowing it's not really scared at all, but—something else he's maybe starting to get a little curious about, the longer he thinks about it . . .
Which he's trying not to do too hard, right here and now. Maybe by himself later?
But anyway, that had definitely been a compliment, and even when everything else is like treading the waters of creeping madness or some shit, Leon still always likes those. Focus on that, man . . . ]
'Course I can do better than that, that was just getting started! . . . I told you you were missin' out.

[He stops himself from saying the thing his stupid, stupid brain is about to say. Well okay no, he's definitely not stupid. But he's severely compromised.
But well, anyways.]
But yes, fine. You were right. I was missing out. I shall keep it mind that this is something I should look forward to.

[Leon can hear the hopeful note in his own voice, and internally cringes a little—it's all he can do to keep it off his face. He's not good at keeping his expressions off his face. At this point, he can't tell if William is dismissing him or inviting him to—what? Demonstrate? If that's how you want to put it . . .
At least either one of those options sounds appealing compared to awkwardly dancing around the topic. But he's not quite ready yet to stick his own neck out.
. . . Yet.]

[He stops, realizing what he's about to say and thinks through it carefully. Because yes, he does want to continue, but he's also becoming worried about what that says about him. But at the same time...]
Do not misunderstand me, but I would not mind a further demonstration. I do not think it gelled in my head.
[He just said that. He really did. He's also quickly coming up with an excuse in case Leon takes that amiss. Something something CERES.]

. . . I'll take it, he decides, before he has time to overthink it.]
—Yeah? We'll I'm an expert, ha ha! Soooo you're in luck! I'm also totally generous!

[He manages to reign in the sarcasm so that it's not too biting though, because that would be crass considering what they've already done.
But anyways.]
But let us at least leave this place. Prying eyes might... misunderstand.
[No might about it.]

Definitely not the situation here at all.
Leon nods, and then laughs at William's stupid sarcasm; it comes out with a tinge of hysterical relief that he himself didn't expect to hear. Because that there is where it hits him that William is still being his stupid sarcastic self and calling him a friend. He's still . . . William. It's not like the entire world changed just because they kissed some and liked it and are about to go kiss more. Somehow, despite everything, things still feel the same.
Who knew? But man is that a weight off Leon's shoulders. He flings an arm around William and squeezes, companionably, and then starts steering them for the door.]
Yeah, yeah, you don't have to tell me twice! Sooooo, uh . . . my place okay?
no subject
He just smiles and sighs because at this point he feels like it's all going to be okay. Somehow. Maybe. What's the point of worrying anymore?]
Yes that is fine. My place wouldn't work. Kevin would not... approve.
[More like Kevin would kill Leon he thinks as he opens the door. The murder of one's friends by one's servants is poor form.]
