App Ninjas Plz

I know what you're thinking - ninjas are so "some amount of years ago". Well... Actually that may be true, but who cares?! Bring some more ninjas here to Cereal for more mayhem, action and ridiculousness! There's plenty of choices. My personal bias includes nearly any of the Konoha ninjas, but there's a whole wide world of ninjas to choose from! If anyone has any potential interest in a character but has no idea where to start and/or fell out of touch with the series, I can help in putting together recommended episodes and summarize whatever needs to be covered!

So, here I am with my ninja clan:



Don't you want to be part of this beautiful team, that specializes in kicking butt with taijutsu (simple hand-to-hand combat)! Bring Rock Lee's mentor or either of his two teammates and know what youth really is!

Maito Gai: GAI-SENSEI!! The most glorious character in the series. Really, he's a lot like an older Rock Lee in ways, except with his own type of swagger and being even more of a living exercise program. Like Lee, he's hard to work hard to make it as a ninja, but unlike Lee, he is able to use ninjutsu so he's a more varied fighter! He has a tragic backstory involving his father, Maito Dai, and he's also rivals with resident silver-haired cool guy Kakashi himself. And if he's taken from post-canon, there is a certain spoiler to work with.

Neji Hyuuga: Rock Lee's eternal rival, and essentially one of Konoha's resident jerks with a heart of gold. He started off kind of awkwardly antagonistically due to branch family problems, but he managed to go from nearly trying to kill his cousin Hinata to being a nii-san to her. So he's kind of stoic and serious-minded but he gets roped into Team Gai's hijinks anyways. He is also one of the more skilled ninjas, especially because he has his family's birthright ability, the Byakugan, which can essentially act like a type of X-ray vision. ...And Neji also comes with a certain other very very sad spoiler.

Tenten: This kunoichi is known for being a weapons specialist! She's also mastered the art of sealing weapons within scrolls and summoning them at crucial times! She's also known for training hard in her own way to keep up with her teammates. Weapons are her main hobby, and one of her other pastimes is making Office reaction faces at her teammates' shenanigans. Tenten is also very capable of trolling. She is an amazing character, although sadly she's one of the most criminally neglected characters in the series, and thus there's sadly much exploration of her backstory. But it could be fun to flesh her out!

(I really really wish that Rock Lee's son was appable too, but he has like... four seconds of screentime)

And... okay I can't go into that much detail for everyone ever, but if you find a character you find interesting, I'll tell you more! There's the rest of the Konoha 11 (we could especially use both Naruto himself and Sakura Haruno from that group!), their senseis, gambling medical master lady ninja president Tsunade, a trio of awesome siblings from the sand village, a rapping ninja named Killer Bee, the amazing mustachioed father of Gai-Sensei, Sai's brother Shin... and that's not even touching upon the numerous Uchihas and handsome villains. Regardless, the list goes on and on and on!!! Just bring us any of those ninjas.

tales of zestiria is another one of those tales of games with massive FRIENDSHIP themes and a lovable cast of interesting characters!! like its title suggests, it's all about zest and passion and also being friends with a group of people that no one else can see. and its opening is really fantastic NA NA NANANANA NA NA NA NAAA



and also magical boy transformations. who doesn't like those??

Former player considering returning, and very much indecisive on the "who to app first" front because I kind of miss playing both of them. It's between these two baby shitlords:

Shitlord #1:

Heero Yuy, the Gundam pilot who's not the most social butterfly out there and whose response to being invited to a birthday party was to rip up the invite and threaten to kill the birthday girl. He got better as time went on though?


and Shitlord #2:

Takeru Jakuzure, from Garo: Yami o Terasu Mono. He's almost the complete opposite of Shitlord #1, loud, emotional, and would probably would have sooner banged the birthday girl (or at least considered it) than threaten to kill her. Just don't push him out in front of cars, because he'll remember that... and throw you to the wolves later. Poor Ryuuga.


...and it would figure that I do this with the wrong journal, I am an idiot who forgot to look at what was logged in. But anyway, HALP! I CAN'T CHOOSE! :(

The chances of this being a thing that happens is actually rather hi-- okay, it's a thing that is pretty much going to be happening as in omg somehow the only thing I have to do is take and tighten notes to make the personality section more coherent. I'll just have to go on an iconning spree again because stupid me deleted my icon folder and lost so much :(

But that's what lazy Friday nights are for!
