Ruby : Lee

Ruby likes Lee a lot, but wow he's super confusing to her. He's so EXUBERANT and has such an interesting view on the world. Ruby is used to being the one who is usually the optimistic, weird and quirky one, so meeting someone who is so much more has been an adventure. She wants to be his friend and to get to know him better, but it's a little like knowing Penny--she's not sure if she should regret it, be enthused by it, or just roll with it when he starts being Weird.

Too late, they're friends anyway. OH WELL.

Overall, though, she does find him to be very sweet when he wants to be, and she appreciates all of his good cheer and optimism for what it is.

Sousei : Jade

Sousei actually surprisingly likes Jade quite a lot. He's competent, sharp and an intelligent adult. Those are few and far between in Cerealia, Sousei has to take the ones he can when he can. He knows that Jade will be a reliable ally, if he can be trusted. That's something that Sousei is determined to figure out as soon as he possibly can.

Of course, Cerealia's bullshit keeps getting in the way of him figuring Jade out but he'll be patient and keep on working at it, because Sousei isn't the sort to pursue allies, but he is the sort to try to find people who he can trust in order to give them information that they can make something of. Sousei's been sitting on a lot of information about Cerealia that he's been waiting to share with people who are not Shounen Teens, so Jade seems like the perfect candidate, presuming he won't do something crazy like sell them out to the Flamines or something.

Business relationship all aside, Sousei does think that Jade's kind of an irritating little shit, but Sousei is that way too so in a way, he doesn't find it too off-putting. At the very least, he's willing to put up with Jade for the sake of proper information exchange.
