Vietnam's usually a big sister, so having someone who is about the same as her in that kind of cool older girl type thing is amazing?! They're able to do dumb girls things while being old at the same time since immortal life (without Taiwan's energy, that's just a whole different ball game). She's so happy for Celty's relationship progress now because YES, immortal life is a sad life, so now she can actually be happy with someone totally eccentric, this is all the better.

Also nothing says let's be family like being stuck in torture together.
