Tadashi has mixed feelings with Hiro being around. At first, he never, ever, ever wanted anybody from San Fransokyo to be in Cerealia with him because of the things people go through and suffer; mentally, physically, and emotionally. It's not cool, and Hiro being only fourteen, it's not a good environment for him to be in. How would he grow up in such a violent and traumatic place? He'd be broken for life.

But with Hiro's arrival, things changed a bit. Tadashi didn't realise how much he missed being home or having somebody he's actually close to be near him. And while he's still filled with worry that Hiro is here and could die or experience other awful things, there's warmth in his heart knowing that his brother is around especially when his only family is Hiro and aunt Cass.

And then there's the guilt of dying and leaving Hiro. It's not cool for an older brother to do that, especially when Tadashi looks at himself as Hiro's pillar. They're a duo who work together, and leaving his brother suddenly with no actual goodbye whatsoever... it diminishes the warmth and makes his heart sink because he feels like a bad brother. But all he can do now is act normal especially after their talk - which had a lot of feelings. I won't cover that now since the ~talk~ log basically spoke for itself.

Right now, Tadashi's still adjusting to things being back to """"""normal"""""" but he's doing it for Hiro's sake. He honestly doesn't know how Hiro feels after the talk, but Tadashi's more concentrated on the changes he's seen in Hiro's personality. After his death, Hiro probably became more sociable and gained a better sense of justice, amongst other things. He sees the good in Hiro even more now, and he feels proud of Hiro.

It's in this perspective that he wonders if his own death was good for Hiro because he gained more friends and became more sociable and is actually saving lives. It's definitely not how Tadashi pictured things to be, but if Hiro's happy, then he's happy as well.
