Okay, I'm gonna come clean: I'm pretty much a fail as a Star Ocean fan. The only game I've played is the one Cliff's from, and I don't even own the system for the one that Faize is from.

So, that said, I'm totally down for continuing CR with these two aliens. They've got an interesting dynamic thus far, but that might be because they both are generally agreeable. If the job thing becomes too much of an issue, how is Faize's skills with Engineering? Cliff can get him a solid spot somewhere in the department if that's a route you want to go.

Oh man, it's okay don't worry! I still haven't played the first two games, and it's been literal years since I've played so3, so it's not like I'm some super amazing fan either. Till the End of Time is the better game anyway, I just don't have any muses from it.

But I would also love to continue it! Because they do get along fairly well. Engineering is actually Faize's second best skill after alchemy. They suggested mechanic for him but he's actually more of a designer/researcher than a builder/fixer so that wasn't really a good fit for him. So we will see! Because I'm not really sure what I want to do with him as far as jobs go (all I could come up with was teacher but I'm not sure if he's too young for that) but that might not be a half bad idea.

Alternately, they could also work on something together in the future. Cliff is more the builder/fixer, although he has a good eye for concepts in terms of functionality.

THAT WOULD BE GREAT IF THEY DID, TBH. I'd really love to do some item creation stuff either way, since I think that should be possible with ViVid? Idk. But yeah, I'm sure something will come up.

Aw, man. Doing some Item Creation sounds fantastic-- we'll definitely need to look into how that's going to work!

Right? I mentioned on the suggestions page that the Vivid page could use an overhaul because I confused myself going through the FAQ trying to figure out if/how it would work but I haven't heard anything back on that yet. If they don't end up doing that though we can always just drop an actual FAQ about it. Because it would be so much fun.

Oh, definitely. I get lost looking for the basic details as well, so we should totally keep our eyes peeled for whatever the answer is. And, if we can't use ViViD, we should be able to do something else with creating things. :3
