wow! implying he is not already a true badass loser okay no he's more loser than badass who am i even trying to fool here.

confession time though, i'm canonblind to the fate series (is it a series? i don't even know i'm so confused about fate/many things go after the slash), save for what i've learned through osmosis via tumblr and a few rpers i've played with. SO I AM NOT QUITE SURE WHAT TO EXPECT HERE, CR-WISE...which is okay because i like surprises but i felt like i should mention it because i don't know.

It's not too bad! Archer is just a jerkass with a heart of sort of gold. He gets along best with people who are jerkish in return tbh, because he's not a big fan of nice people or people with shounen hero disease.

oh okay, then yes we're good here. THAT IS EXACTLY THE CHARACTER TYPE I AM LOOKING FOR, at least when it comes to "people he'll actually get along with." hooray
