Mystery Science Theatre -3000

Welcome to Cerealia's latest attraction. In an effort to branch into other forms of entertainment, CERES has been slowly patching together films from various worlds to show in its brand new movie theater. So, grab a friend, sit back, and enjoy the newest batch of imported films with a nice bucket of popcorn. As you'll notice from the long line outside, it's the latest rage in the colony, and those tired of the same virtual battles in ViViD are eager to enjoy a little change in scenery.

For those eager to participate, you will find yourself being lead into the lobby by one of the many robotic theater employees. Showing today are five special films, and in the lobbies are various screens advertising them through the movie's digital avatar, Mnemosyne. Allow her to take you on a virtual tour of CERES' finest theatrical offerings.

(( P.S. no actual actors/actresses appear in any of the films. It's all done through advanced CGi-technology and voice acting. ))
"GOOD EVENING, MOVIE-GOERS. I AM MNEMOSYNE, YOUR GUIDE FOR THIS EVENING.

THEATER I
[ 00:00 ] MY PETITE EQUESTRIAN EXPERIENCE - RATED A

Advertised as a delightful tale of ponies discovering magic and friendship, this is a must-see! For adults that is. The ponies are killed within the first ten minutes, and then the rest of the run time is filled with a celebratory orgy of Roman-esque proportions. There are no mentions of ponies after the initial scene. They are neither seen nor mourned nor heard from. There are only naked, gyrating bodies as far as the eye can see.

If you manage to sit through the horror long enough, you will notice a certain something in between the moaning. Is that your face on one of the protags? Is it a beloved family member or a friend? You will find that spliced between the scenes are cherished and innocent childish memories now being soiled by passionate cries of pleasure. Enjoy the new memory, your poor, sweet summer child. This will only be visible to the viewer himself/herself.
THEATER II
[ 00:00 ] LARGE ADVENTURER 7 - RATED B

A touching tale of dealing with loss and more loss. This film is about a giant robot and his pet human that gets eradicated in the Third Robotic Genocide, leaving behind just a human carcass. The giant robot clings to the carcass and cries robotic tears until finally he chucks the carcass into a river full of carcasses and decides to go on a deep quest in search of cheese.

But spliced between this tale of woe, viewers will see images of themselves caught in a romantic memory. A first kiss, perhaps? A first love-making session? A first crush? A desired one will also have their face molded on top of all the carcasses as they flow away. This will only be visible to the viewer himself/herself.

THEATER III
[ 00:00 ] THE RETALIATORS: ERA OF RADICALON - RATED C

Agent Dick Angry takes it upon himself to assemble a team of miscreant aliens to invade the hell out of "Planet Earth." The aliens include Zorn, an intelligent toaster; Crisis, a blue-skinned beauty that turns purple when she's aroused; Trish, a rogue miniature ficus with a criminal record; and General Cerealia, a handsome, ripped man who beats evil-doers with his laptop and who looks suspiciously like CERES' programmer, Elias.

This adventurous romp will feature the tragic memories of death interweaving with the destruction of the "Planet Earth." Those who attend will see first-hand the memories of their own worlds slowly being demolished before their eyes and all their loved ones screaming in agony. Then it'll loop itself again and again for the last hour of the film. Enjoy! This will only be visible to the viewer himself/herself.
THEATER IV
[ 00:00 ] DECEASE HARDER II - RATED D

Jack McJack is a cop who is having none of your shit. In this action film, he will ride around on a velociraptor and go around punching evil-doers and detonating them with land mines. If you want all the violence in the world, this is the film for you. Watch as every second is filled with pointless explosions and every curse word in all the known languages in Cerealia.

Of course, spliced between every action scene will be every embarrassing moment of your life being played out for you and only you. Or is it? Start sweating and looking in every direction as you begin to wonder if everyone else can see that time you tripped and fell on your senpai almost kissing him (sacre bleu D= !)
BONUS - THEATER V
[ why:o'clock ] YARD-DOOR PEOPLE OF QUESTIONABLE MORALS - RATED Z

This is a touching film about tenderness and coming together to overcome obstacles and achieve greatness. The Yard-Door people run into danger when an evil megalord starts polluting the air with negative feelings. The Yard-Door people must band together and save the world through kindness. They will go and help their neighbors get across the street, rake up leaves from their lawns, donate canned food to the poor, and collect toys for children who do not have any.

While this film will draw tears from your eyes, you will see happy memories. The happiest that can be mustered. They will be spliced in with the scenes in the movie, occurring side-by-side with all the smiles and fuzzy feelings leaking off the screens. This will only be visible to the viewer himself/herself.

Also, beware! This film contains the angriest of Theater Cleaning Robots. Dropping anything on the floor will result in a bit of a flogging with a wooden paddle and a robot calling you a dirty slut and claiming that you like it. Yes, BDSM robots will not take your bad behavior. You better bend over and start apologizing for being such a filthy, little theater-goer.

What do you mean "What's the big deal?" stupid aniki-!!

[And somehow he can't hold it back mostly because puberty and teenage emotions and all that lovely stuff. Good job making your brother dissolve into an emotional mess, Tenka.]

How are you even here?!
sunshrouded: (☀ this looks vaguely like stripping)

[personal profile] sunshrouded 2015-03-09 07:34 pm (UTC)(link)
[ . . . . well, that's sufficiently confusing. Tenka blinks in response to that before he shakes his head faintly and calmly before immediately moving to pull Soramaru into his embrace.]

Hey.

Hey.... I don't know what you're yelling at me about now, but what matters is that I'm here. I'm right here. I'm not going anywhere either so you can yell and hit me all you want, if that's what you need to do.

[Lightly, he laughs as he adds-]

Don't think they're freebies though. I'll hit you back.

How do you not know?

[He asks, biting back tears. He hadn't cried once since that day and he planned to keep it that way. Feeling his older brother's arms around him was like a striking a match in him, bringing all of it flooding back in his mind.]

Stupid... [He hugs him more tightly and tries to commit the feeling to memory. He didn't care if he hit him back, even if it would probably hurt like hell. He just wanted Tenka to stay. He felt like he was six years old again, crying whenever his brother so much as left a room. In turn it caused Chuutaro to wail and wail until big brother came back with smiles and kisses and reassurances that he would never leave them and that they were safe. Always protected, always loved... and yet he had died and with him the sun had gone even farther away.]
sunshrouded: (☀ o shit lemme call u back)

[personal profile] sunshrouded 2015-03-09 07:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Are you trying to be tough again?

[Not crying.... he can hear it in your voice, brat. Tenka just shakes his head then and returns the tightening of Soramaru's grip with his own, holding him as close as he did on the day that he had to leave him. Soramaru was here once already and then - without warning and without goodbye, he was gone. This Soramaru isn't the same.... Tenka can already tell.

The shape of his face is different, he's younger. How is that possible?

But that's a minor thought because more importantly, his little brother needs him. So Tenka just rubs Soramaru's back soothingly then, even as he hums and speaks to him softly, reassuringly. As scared as his brother is, Tenka will try not to make it clear just how scared he is too.]

It's okay. You don't have to take it all on by yourself anymore. I'm right here.

No-!!

[He is trying to be tough. He hadn't cried the entire time Tenka had been gone and now here he was fighting the urge to do so. He relaxes when he feels him rubbing at his back, making an attempt to calm the storm in his head. His words were even similar to when he'd been a child.

Your brother is here with you...
]

Sorry... you just- you let them-!!

[He can't say it, the words stuck in his throat. He'd been killed and had been perfectly fine with it. Yet he was now here? What could he even do with that information.]

Please don't leave us again.
sunshrouded: (☀ sad smile are my hobby)

[personal profile] sunshrouded 2015-03-11 07:13 pm (UTC)(link)
[Admittedly as soon as the 'sorry' left Soramaru's lips, Tenka tensed. He tensed and he held his brother closer and even after his plea, the first thing that Tenka says is:]

I don't want to hear you apologize for anything.

[He settles his chin on Soramaru's shoulder and holds him close, trying with every fiber of his being to being the strong older brother that Soramaru deserves. Mom and Dad had told him so longer ago that it was his duty to protect and love Soramaru and god he loves him with everything he has but protecting him has been the hard part.

But he's going to keep trying.]

I'm not going anywhere. I'll fight anyone who tries to take me away from you and I'm going to win, alright?

I'll never leave again. I mean it this time.

[personal profile] sunshied 2015-03-11 09:58 pm (UTC)(link)
[He wonders if he were stronger if he would have been able to stop Tenka from sacrificing himself. Always, always, he is watching his brother's back. It hurts.

He doesn't really know what more to say, only nodding while pressing his face into his brother's shoulder. Screwing his eyes shut, he can already feel his lashes have become wet with tears.
]

You shouldn't have done that- it was my fault anyway...

[Tenka didn't have to die for him. It was more than just what had happened at the Condemned Prison Gate. He was mostly sure he was the Orochi's vessel. He grew more sure the longer he thought about it. Tenka didn't deserve to die like that for him, now knowing that he's the beast.]
sunshrouded: (☀ you said they were minions of evil)

[personal profile] sunshrouded 2015-03-11 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
It's not your fault!

[Listen there are few things that can really get Tenka to raise his voice so suddenly at Soramaru but that'd do it. Though with his brother's face pressed into his shoulder as it is, it's more of Tenka sternly saying it to open air, without hesitation and without room for argument.]

You didn't ask for this. None of us did. I don't care if you're the vessel - it's not your fault. All the matters is that you're still alive.

As long as you're alive, we can save you. We can do it, so don't say things like that.
sunshied: (11)

[personal profile] sunshied 2015-03-13 08:33 pm (UTC)(link)
But aniki...

[No, it's better not to argue with him about this. He was right. He didn't ask for this at all.]

What about Chuutaro? He's not here- and- and what if I hurt someone here too...?

[He feels that nagging worry that in a way it's good their brother isn't here but at the same time he's worried. What if he gets taken over by the beast? Can they really handle it together?]
sunshrouded: (☀ our party was the most epic party)

[personal profile] sunshrouded 2015-03-14 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, you know Chuutarou.... He's the type of kid to run into everything because he thinks he's invincible. Then no matter where he goes, he's loved. No one could ever hurt him.

[The most charismatic Kumou by far... but Tenka is rather certain of himself regardless. Chuutarou is precious to them both and yet he doesn't want to add more to Soramaru's problems. So he ruffles his hair and continues to try to reassure him.]

But you won't hurt anyone. I'll hold you back myself and you know there's no one stronger, right?
sunshied: (2)

[personal profile] sunshied 2015-03-16 01:27 am (UTC)(link)
[Tenka drives a good argument, though he's still not convinced Chuutaro could get by without them. He straightens himself up a bit, pulling back.]

Aniki is always so sure... I wish I could be like that.

[He knew he was capable of confidence and yet there was always that urge to lean on his brother. He didn't know how else to be. Tenka had always been the strong one in their family, the glue that kept them together.]
