I guess I'd say that's the flipside of how open he is to trying out new ideas in pursuit of the truth. Sure, he allows prosecutors who are samurai convicts, who whip everybody or who throw coffee in people's faces, but he also allows defense attorneys to try out thinks as experimental as emotional therapy.
