she manages to stomach maybe thirty seconds of it before burying her face in her knees, looking up only once in a while, taut and tense, to see if it's finally ended yet. it's not until a few minutes later that she realizes that once in a while-- she can see herself. is that her and... naoto? is that her completely failing to sew a button on a shirt? can everyone else in this place see??
the friendly voice to her right breaks her out of her momentary mortification. pushing aside her usual fear and wariness of strangers, she timidly grabs the stranger's arm and buries her face in it, the wings on her back taut and shaking.
