[ Despite everything, Heung Soo isn't terribly busy with interacting people at this party. It still feels strange how he ended up here, but whenever he tries to think about it, it feels like he's going to get a headache (maybe because of the music and the lights, too) so he doesn't. But even though the party makes him feel a little lighter, he's not a terribly social person by nature, so unless someone else speaks up to him first, he's not terribly inclined to start interacting with anyone.
Naoya, however, does speak up. And at first the young man doesn't answer, instead staring Naoya down as if he's sizing him up, observing him, trying to see how much trouble he could be. (Some old habits die hard.)
After a moment Heung Soo just shrugs though, as if that awkward silence never happened. Or maybe it just wasn't awkward to him. ]
It's a party. [ Talk about an avoidant answer. As if he means to say "doesn't everyone enjoy themselves at parties" even if it might not entirely apply to him. But truthfully, he's still not sure what to think of this, his mind feels too fuzzy for it. ]
phase i! (also you know i'm totally ok with spoilers..)
