[ To be honest, he's not entirely surprised when Nam Soon suddenly maneuvers around him. As much as Heung Soo is a mother hen by nature, Nam Soon has displayed this kind of behaviour enough times ever since they met again after all those years. Even when he was purposefully challenging Jung Ho to hit him, Nam Soon got inbetween the two of them and received the kicks instead just to protect Heung Soo.
So now, when there's something that's very probably a lot more dangerous than Jung Ho once he's pissed off? It's not surprising at all that Nam Soon tries to take the lead, even though it's not like Heung Soo wants to see anything happen to his friend either. But he knows arguing it now is just going to be useless - there's more important things to focus on, like finding out what's going on.
Not that it takes them long to do so.
Even if he might be the one following, it'd be terribly difficult to not spot what's up ahead once they've gotten far away from the back rooms enough to spot the main area of the party. The smell of blood hangs thickly in the air, and there's splatters of it on the floor, on the walls - dripping from the ceiling, although it's hard to spot the corpse up there above the ventilation from their current position, still a distance away from it all. But what isn't difficult to spot is the black, tall creature in the middle of the mass of panicking people, looking like something that came straight out of a horror movie or some really screwed up manga. The many red glowing eyes, the sharp teeth, the way it slings people around as if they're little more than bags of sand..
.. this is even beyond anything Heung Soo could have imagined, and for a moment he's just frozen, staring at it as it rampages on the other end of the room. This isn't real. This can't be real. Stuff like this-- it just doesn't happen, even with as weird as everything else has been nothing. It can't be real, but it feels much too real to be a dream, and..
The more he sees, the more he feels sick to his stomach. But he knows one thing, and that's that they have to get out of here. This isn't something they can handle, this isn't something even Nam Soon could handle if he let himself go.
His heart races even more quickly in panic than it did back when they had to deal with the gangsters, but he knows that if they don't act fast, that thing will notice them instead.
It's impossible to notice Nam Soon's expression from behind, but he doesn't care, Heung Soo still reaches out to grab his best friend's wrist and give a firm tug on it, indicating they have to get the hell out of here. Now. ]
