Ryuko reminded Edgeworth of Rhoda Teneiro, that flight attendant who was smiling so stiffly when they first met. He prefers her as an outspoken, if rather brash young girl instead of a fake perky smiling one because this place could always use more outspoken people even though said outspoken people can be...er, rough and not just around the edges. But he has to admire how she's not just throwing in the towel in her job and is chugging through it even though - and here he's guessing - she must prefer another job over making juice for people. He hopes she doesn't do anything impulsive because if given the opportunity, Edgeworth could see her making such a decision in the future. But this is still all up in the air and for now he's good with getting to know her better and what makes her tick.
