LFSOFK OZ WILL BE YOUR FRIEND EDGEWORTH......

They still haven't talked much so IT'S STILL THE SAME STUFF, basically; he thinks Edgeworth is a very put-together guy! Probably the type who is very efficient and effective in pretty much everything he sets out to do, no matter what the thing in question might be. He comes off to Oz as the kind of person that would be good to know in a rough situation too since he seems like he'd keep his cool and be able to work through whatever the problem is. THEY NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE THAT HERE since everyone is a wailing maniac running around getting into trouble, basically. Babysitter Edgeworth...

BUT YES he'd definitely like to get to know Edgeworth better, that's a thing that will happen CNA'T STOP THIS FRIENDSHIP TRAIN.

AND FOR TEA FRIENDS HMMMM what have I not hit yet LET'S TALK ABOUT... HIS PERSONALITEA. HAh okay but for real, the more Kaoru talks to Edgeworth, the more he's kinda like... A LITTLE IFFY. Because he really appreciates people who are smart and observant and have all their shit together! And at the same time, those kinds of people are the ones who bother him the most, because they're the most likely to sniff out some bullshit, you know. With Kaoru's sketchass flower shop going into business soon, he's not going to want a person like Edgeworth snooping around for obvious reasons...

ON THE OTHER OTHER HAND, Edgeworth's also been nothing but courteous to him?! EVEN AFTER THAT STUPID PRANK HE PULLED with was mercifully a benign one, but still. That makes him a little less wary and on edge, because to him it feels like he's already worked his way into Edgeworth's positive books. He has no idea how easy it might be to get his dumb ass kicked off of there though, so he actually treads with a little more caution around him than he does with most of his other friends/acquaintances.

Along similar lines, he actually doesn't have a good read on Edgeworth beyond what he displays most openly. He still doesn't have much of a reason to change that by actively trying to get to know him better though, and at this point, he thinks Edgeworth will probably find it strange if he suddenly develops an INTENSE INTEREST in what his thoughts and feelings about things are. SO HE'S STUCK DOING THIS THE HARD WAY, ie gathering information through surface chatting, etc. When he does open his shop though he might invite Edgeworth BECAUSE HE'S A CONTRARY MORON-- but also because Edgeworth is a jamjar vet and would probably be interested in digging up/sharing info on CERES. Not as an employee, just kinda opening the space up as a safe zone for him to info-share in.
