She continues to be something of a non-entity buT!! Kaoru has noticed that she actually networks very well?? She hasn't been around that long but it seems like she's already made a lot of friends, and he's pretty much always on the lookout for people like that because he lives by the principle "be friends with people who will defend you against rUDE LOSERS WHO ACCUSE YOU OF BEING A DUPLICITOUS DEMON". And Vietnam fits the bill!! Good work Vietnam. That means Kaoru will probably be keeping a closer eye on her in the future, especially since she really reads to him like a mama bear type; someone who will absolutely defend anyone that they view as a precious friend or family. SO IT REALLY IS GOOD FOR HIM that he's already working his way up toward family status, even though... yeah, not so good for Vietnam...
I think he'll actually start to get a little overwhelmed if she cares too much, though. Obviously he's not used to anything like that and at this point in his life, he finds it smothering, pointless and aggravating to be looked after. HE'S PERPETUALLY BITTER about the fact that he didn't get the help he wanted as a kid, so basically any help that he gets in the present is something that he disdains. This is me saying that I definitely need to find a reason for Kaoru to get sick so Vietnam can baby him and he can be distraught about it...
I also think that there's a slight potential here for Vietnam to slip into the same territory that Tenka is slowly slipping into?! WHICH IS REALLY BAD because that territory is the Crazy Kaoru Territory. Basically, he's mad jealous of anyone who can form loving, familial bonds with other people, or who have families that genuinely care for them and vice versa, or both. Since Vietnam definitely falls into that category, it's possible that Kaoru could end up doing that weird thing he does where he gets really possessively envious of someone and wants to strip them of their nice things. THIS IS JUST A DISTANT POSSIBILITY THOUGH and for now Vietnam's still just at an acquaintance level... It would be better for her if she stayed there, but We Will See......

but yes i'll find a way to do this somehow?!?! i mean we know chizuru can get sick... but on the other hand, she's also the outlier demon who fails at being a demon. MAYBE AN EVENT WILL COME ALONG THAT WILL MAKE THIS POSSIBLE. idk how but i will find a way okay i'm dedicated to this, please comfort him as he drowns in a sea of tissues.

YEAH can he get food poisoning. Accidental poisoning of some kind. Measles.......we must have this somehow, Kaoru just drop down and be sick. Even fake it if you have to. She'll even stroke his hair, gosh.

HAHAHAHA he just hecks up when he's making something like "shit" but vietnam thinks he's sick and then he has to pretend he feels sick for longer than he actually does because he doesn't want her figuring out he's not human and therefore heals quickly.
