malia ➝ killua: people who should probably be aware that killua is a tiny child: malia. but no, instead she talks to him like normal and when he says things that people don't expect a kid to say, she just carries on like normal. malia expects most people to have some sort of level of competence, some sort of survival instinct! she assumes killua has the basic instincts to sustain himself -- get food, water, shelter, not let bigger enemies kill you. so far, he has shown these traits! this makes killua capable in malia's eyes and she has no reason to dismiss him. if he shows he's a good fighter too, she will even respect him more.
