i'm laughing so hard because sousei is like I DON'T LIKE TOTSUKA and totsuka is like I REALLY LIKE SOUSEI... (basically they're that icon) unfortunately for sousei, totsuka is like never bothered by the frigid demeanor or stoic face because he's spent most of his teenager life pursuing friendships with people like that to the point where he got mugged in an alleyway and landed in a hospital and yes self-caution is not in totsuka's dictionary...
He respects Sousei a lot and thinks that he's a Good Person which is a lot to read into like one act of saving his life... but as far as Totsuka's concerned, truly mean people would have just left him up there tbh. and he's always been pretty aggressive about making friends and friendships. so he's 100% interested in talking to sousei again in the future but wait where does he find him... watch... he'll ask yata and yata will tell him.

anyway yes, totsuka's first impression of vietnam was a cute girl who was Yata's friend!!! (even if yata has like no gurl friends, but he's friends with yang and saya so totsuka has assumed that it's easier for yata to make gurlfriends now HAHA) plus she was one of the few people who offered her help so MORE POINTS FOR HER IN TOTSUKA'S BOOK
of course... that whole thing about her being Vietnam has thrown him off his usual 'befriend-yata's-friends' routine because IS SHE REALLY VIETNAM??? IS THAT REALLY POSSIBLE?? SHOULD HE EVEN QUESTION IT WHEN HE DIED AND CAME BACK TO LIFE and clearly that's just a level of weird that he should accept?? either way prepare for lots of questions vietnam, because Totsuka's really interested in the fact that she's Vietnam and that means he wants to know HOW?? WHERE??? WHY??? is she best friends with Japan?? is there a Japan? if she's a country then that makes her like immortal right... also on a side-note, now he has someone who'll actually like all of his Vietnamese dishes plus offer some expert opinions on his food! HURRAY!! okay either way prepare to be bothered by totsuka a lot in the future, vietnam...
