Peko currently is still working her assigned job as a casino dealer and is trying to keep her head down in the wake of running around in a bathing suit trying to challenge everyone to a sword fight. She's still adjusting -- there's a lot of personal problems (what's her purpose now after [spoilers redacted], how she's supposed to deal with [spoilers redacted], etc.) she has to work out, and she's trying to get through them on her own. With limited success because she doesn't want to lean too much on her (only) friend, because god damn it, she can figure this out for herself. (no)

✩ Any particular friendships they've made in Cerealia so far? Who with?; It's too soon to say!


✩ What kind of CR are you hoping to build/future plans?; I am really looking for Peko to start building some meaningful relationships with other characters, especially friends. Lord knows this girl needs friends more than she realizes. The most important thing she'd need in a friendship is for someone to listen to her without judging her, really. I'm also looking for people who are willing to try to get her to crack a smile, because that's something else she'll be trying to work on. Lastly, though it's not as much of an IC priority for her, I'm definitely open to pursuing any rivalries she might have inadvertently created during the event.

SO I really like how Peko and Edgeworth in their thread, he just sees her as someone who can teach him a thing or two about fighting and not as a rival, though.

ME TOO Peko's not really into rivals anyway. The event kind of amp'd up her will to 'fight' way beyond what it normally is. I'm not sure if you're trying to avoid SDR2 spoilers, but Edgeworth mentioned something that's an uncomfortable reminder of something she only recently left behind. If anything, I think she could come to see him as someone she could learn from, as well! I'd definitely be interested in building more CR with these two.

Anyway, I think Komaeda mentioned bears and stuff when he and Edgeworth first met during the Rise of the Android Katana Bros and I'm okay with spoilers.

I'm not sure they'll ever be BFFs because Komaeda is Komaeda, but I'd love for them to work out an understanding of sorts with each other. Komaeda thinks she's pretty cool -- except for the whole horrible despair monster oh god they're all terrible etc etc etc.

I'M NOT SURE but I'm definitely willing to work toward it, though. Lord knows Peko doesn't have very high ground to stand on herself when it comes to morals and wanting to kill all their classmates. She just takes a personal offense to Komaeda doing it, because, well, Kuzuryuu was included in that how dare.

I think they can definitely reach an understanding, with time. I think sometime in the nearish future, she's likely going to want to talk to Komaeda to get more details about his whole 'hope versus despair' mentality, since she's still trying (and failing) to deal with the reveal herself.

THAT SAID I did put up an overflow post on her journal, which is basically just the continuation of her intro if you'd still like to tag in! Aside from that, in a few days I'll be putting up a network post which will likely consist of a blanket apology to Cereal as a whole because she's normally not concerned with proving herself quite so much. Her attitudes toward swordplay in general and kendo specifically is that levels and rank don't matter, as long as she's strong enough to protect what matters to her.

That was a tl;dr for YES I'D LOVE FOR HER TO HAVE A SWORD BUDDY. She's not so much interested in rivalry, since it's (normally) not important to her, but someone to spar and practice with, she'd definitely be interested in! (and if he wants to think of her as a rival, he's more than welcome to!)

As soon as I'm off work, I intend to have Peko hit up Mirai's post to apologize for her boobs for bullying her, considering Peko really... didn't mean to, and now that the event is over, she's super embarrassed and actually does feel a little bad since it was so unnecessary.
