Job: Pulling two jobs at the moment - a day job as an art appraiser and a night job as a thief for hire in the black market. I'm open to coworker or client CR from both sides!
Personality: Calm and curious sort who never raises his voice but still carries an air of knowing what to do. Very controlled and projects a friendly, charming face to everyone who doesn't know him well, but very much merciless and monstrous under the surface and lacking any fear of death. Manipulative, smart, and adaptive to situations, as well as remorseless and relentlessly pursuing what he considers worthwhile. A jackass who only cares about himself and other people who aren't here. Don't let him talk philosophy.
what do you mean i c/p'd from last CR meme?Current Activities: At the moment, sitting on some revelatory contracts from the interlude and waiting for the right time to drop them on the colony, as well as investigating black market technology and keeping up his facade as a decent guy.
Seeking: In general, usually seeking people who might get along with him - be it through aesthetic appreciation, good conversation, or in general being merciless. Though I'm honestly open to anything - if you have an idea, throw it at me and let's try it out!
However, I'm also seeking people who'd be potentially interested in power theft plotting.
The short version is that Chrollo possesses an ability that allows him to steal the powers of other people. Theft can only happen under a set of strict conditions, but if complete, he removes the power from the victim and seals it in his book for his own use. If the victim dies, their power returns to them, and he can no longer use it - he'd have to steal it again from them.
By now he's been playing nice in Cerealia long enough to have his eye on various useful or unique powers of other people, and I'd like him to be able to make some attempts on them. I realize this is a pretty hardcore/potentially severe happening to characters given how tied some people are to abilities, so as always this power is opt in. However, if this is something you're interested in potentially playing out, let me know, and we can discuss it further! You don't need to have prior CR with me for this, it's open to anyone across the board.

but I wouldn't mind having him be part of the power theft plot! having him go back to square one when it comes to his powers/abilities would be interesting, though it'd definitely put Chrollo on his shitlist for life if/when it ever happens
