[ It's when he looks back to Chihiro that the portrait blows a raspberry. Chihiro almost wants to laugh, but it's not so much funny as continuing to be bizarre and unsettling. She'll keep dealing with it, but she allows herself to decide she doesn't like the theme of the day thus far.

Murder? Murder. Murder has definitely been the theme. She'd prefer neither one of them to get caught up in that any more directly than they already have. Thus she falls in step again, catching up while resisting looking back over her shoulder. She's not sure she follows what he's saying, so she thinks over it. What makes this part different? Or is it this part of the mansion? She feels like it should be clear.

How do we know what we're supposed to fix, then? Why isn't this stuff worth it?
