His jaw clenched slightly at mother, privately hoping that the portraits didn't shift from his crew, allies, and recent enemies to his own family. Steering his thoughts back to calculating the possibilities and working out the logic, he studied the mother's portrait for a moment. "It could be any number of things," he said bluntly.
