Okay so! Iris, somehow, has become a close friend that he'd happily listen to. She's a lot different to what he expected, or at least her past is. She's so kind and gentle at times though that he worries she'll end up all the more hurt if something happens in the future.

He might not be completely open with her yet, but he does trust her. He just doesn't want her impression of him to change if he does say some things, especially given her opinions on Other Things that I won't mention dskjgndg

In other things though, he's definitely happy for her and Phoenix and thinks she deserves someone special like he's proven himself to be ;u;
