Oh, Merlin.

Outside of the AA Cast, he's somehow come to be one of her closest friends and trusted confidants. In some ways, like a little brother, but the "little" part only comes from the difference in their ages. More often than not, he feels like an equal who just happens to have a few years' worth of experience less than her. For now.

It was almost by accident that their friendship happened, and the level of trust behind it, but since it had, she doesn't regret it one bit. He's understanding and he really thinks about topics rather than offering mere words of comfort. She can tell he has his own secrets, and she respects that, but she does wish that he would open up more. Especially to Athena, given that whole Hitting issue. (Though she did speak with Athena, so maybe things will improve???) So, in short, he's somebody that she feels comfortable with and enjoys talking to very much.

Now if only she can get him and Feenie to play nice.

and they have talked about the hitting issue but everyone?????? hits him Iris?????????? he doesn't know why this is any different. [smh] all it did was make athena feel bad :(
