Ankh really doesn't know enough about him to say anything, other than that memory made him think of Eiji a bit, in the sense of apparently being duty-bound to protect everyone ever. At least Ryuuga seems to have a reason for that, as opposed to Eiji just sort of deciding it on his own. And he's noted Ryuuga is a solid fighter based on what he saw there, too. That clip was so ridiculous though what were you guys even doing?

it's honestly probably one of the more ridiculous fights in the entire franchise, tbh - but the rival fights tend to get ridiculous in the series as a whole. (see: Kouga and Rei's first major fight in the first season involving them running down buildings while trying to beat each other up during the climax of it)

and at least it's not one of the many fights where Jinga pins Ryuuga to the nearest flat surface. he's got a hilarious kabedon obsession with him :'|
