Nico is kind of a bit bewildered by Takeru. He doesn't see why the kid wants to hang around him since most people (in his mind at least) don't, but he appreciates it nonetheless. He feels a bit protective towards him because of his innocence, because he remembers being young and being innocent then having bad stuff happen and losing it, and he doesn't want that for anyone. Now that he's back from his canon update, he'll be inwardly questioning why Takeru isn't freaked out by him less, at least!

As for Mokuba, he doesn't really know Takeru all that well yet, but Angemon sure is cool and it's great to have other kids around his own age here and be able to find out what it's like to have friends his own age on his own instead of just hanging out with his brother all the time, even if he misses him terribly.

Mokuba is not entirely sure what to make of Mabel lol. She's interesting, he'll say that, but she's someone he'd be completely okay being friends with even if she comes off as a bit eccentric.

Nico feels the same way towards Hikari as he mostly does about Takeru. Hikari's not seen as much of his powers as Takeru has, and he wonders if she would be freaked out by them if she ever did, but now that he's back from his canon update, he's less worried about that than he once was. He still doesn't intend to do something like summon a skeleton without any warning and freak her out or something like that lol. He wants to protect that innocence she has the same reason he wants to protect Takeru's, because he knows what its like to be young and to lose it, and he doesn't want anyone else to know how that feels.

Mokuba doesn't know her very well, but he's grateful to have some other kids his own age around here to befriend, even if he's closer in age to the two big brothers of the Digimon group. Digimon are totally cool too XP
