Seriously, though, Ankh's kind of this balancing force for him, since he keeps forcing him to think about himself and can really deflate his ego faster than anything. And it's funny how for all Ankh says that he doesn't understand why Eiji values him, Eiji kind of wonders why Ankh values him, since he's only ever been used, first by his parents, then by Ankh, even by his friends to some degree, and now he's not sure how useful he really is. But Ankh's still there with him, even though he doesn't need him to collect Medals or anything. So even if he's not entirely sure what Ankh still sees in him, he's glad to have him there.
