Usagi is and will always remain Usagi.

Rei's expressed her feelings multiple times through word and deed. She loves Usagi as a sister, and will protect her from any possible threat. she'll kill for her, and be the best damn guard she can be.

However, Usagi is...still Usagi. She annoys Rei, and this time even moreso, because of the age gap. She doesn't fault her for it, she's just more or less getting strong nostalgia vibes from her and that's both good and a bit of a pain. It just makes her more likely to tease, of course.

Heeeh. Yeah. Usagi herself matures somewhat through the course of the series. Rei having that much more time on her probably does make that so much more readily apparent. Sorry Rei. She tries. And she's getting more used to this difference and letting Rei more take the lead in a sense.

Sob, all the teasing. But she does react so much more in earlier canon to it. This is true.
