Icon relevantRei really likes Yuri. A lot. She is actually really glad to have run into her, and while the circumstances aren't great? She's pretty grateful to have ended up in her group. Yuri's nice, and a little tragic, but also absolutely fascinating. It's good to see someone holding up the old ways, and wanting to bring the dead a proper rest instead of being like any other modern girl. Yuri's someone she'll fight to protect, and she already respects her immensely. It helps that Yuri's kinda cute, but it's more that she's clearly capable and pretty brave.
She does wish though, that Yuri placed a higher value on her own life.
