First impressions on Shiho?

First first impressions on Shiho are that she is quite pretty - especially her hair, since it's not a color or type Naminé is familiar with. As far as actual impressions go, Shiho struck her as the kind of person who's generally self-possessed, and came across as being fairly mature at least in comparison to the way Naminé perceives herself. She hasn't yet gotten used to being complimented (and especially hadn't at the time of their first thread) or to other people attempting to build her up, so it was really a good experience for her to be treated that way. Confidence is not quite so easily accrued as that, but it did ease her self-esteem issues somewhat at the time and give her ample cause to view Shiho favorably.

The above being said, she does at least suspect that there is an underlying self-consciousness to Shiho, or rather that her life may not have been all sunshine and roses. What that might have been about Naminé doesn't yet have the foggiest idea nor is the thought really all that well-formed, but she knows someone with bad memories when she sees one and can definitely sympathize, even if only on a subconscious level. When or if she finds out that memories are just the issue (hah) it'll probably make a lot more sense to her, along with causing her to be exceptionally sad on Shiho's behalf and leading to a certain sense of kinship, given their similarities. For the time being, however, Naminé's glad to have met Shiho and is looking forward to getting the chance to talk to her again.
