flynn thinks that veronica is one of the sweetest people. she's always so friendly and understanding. he'll forever appreciate how understanding she was about that weird carrying urge. it was so inappropriate but she remained so cool about it and even taught him to make flower crowns! the car-washing thing only solidified how sweet she is, if also a little silly with how excited it made her (sorry if he laughed, it was cute). if she ever wants to come by for more carwashing antics, flynn'd love to have her.

why not all of them!

on mary, flynn thinks she's cute, if far more mischevious than she looks. that date set-up really drilled home the fact that little girls are so much more clever than they let on. he also finds her really insightful and intelligent and also caring. not everyone would try to help with other people's not-boyfriend issues! mary's definitely got that sort of little sister vibe that reminds him of patty, just minus the same intensity (though while still having that 'i'm actually old as balls' issue, even if he's oblivious). one of these days, he'll treat her to an even better breakfast now that he knows how to make those non-lethal.

yang needs to smile, that's what he thinks! that said, he knows she'll get there in time. flynn's impression of her coupled with his impression of ruby make him sure that she'll be fine in the end. but come jogging with him and edgy and their dog squad!!!

flynn's initial opinion of otome is LIFE-SAVER, if also confusing. she's telling him all this stuff he never knew about why people flock to him involving him somehow being cute??? what a strange concept!

he is a man worthy of all the respect ever!! and so is raven. flynn truthfully has SO much respect for raven or whoever he wants to call himself. in his eyes, raven's a kind, caring man who had to deal with a ton of bullshit courtesy of alexei. one of the reasons why flynn never blamed raven for anything was because he followed alexei just as blindly for a time and finds a sort of kindred spirit in raven because of that. any advice or praise raven gives will always be taken at more value than most people, too. raven knows the ins and outs of being a knight so whatever he says holds more weight than normal. he firmly believes that schwann is a part of raven and that some of schwann shines through in what he does/says!!

some of raven's personality traits are... questionable and flynn won't change his views on that. that said, he knows how good a person raven is underneath that pervy old man outside. good and kind and intelligent and... tl;dr he respects you, old man, and that won't change.

flynn finds mabel very sweet, if SUPER high energy. she has a good heart and good intentions, which he really does appreciate. how intense she was about the romance thing really took him off guard, but he isn't mad or anything. really, it pushed him in the direction of actually thinking about the stuff. HE IS CONFUSED AS HELL and may actually ask her about love stuff, but he'll probably be grateful to her in the end. oh and she also really need to work on getting the measurements of her models before having her model. that sweater...

takeru seems like a very sweet kid to him. he also will probably apologize the next time they meet for forcing that pancake of doom on him. NO CHILD NEEDED TO SUFFER THAT HORROR.

sir rosebud has SO much of flynn's respect. he was the first to really be blunt with flynn about something that everyone had kept quiet about so he'll forever appreciate it. the attitude leon gives off always reminds him of yuri so it's why he doesn't get mad about it. he knows that deeper down is a kind person so it's okay. one of these days, he'll realize that taking leon's shit isn't okay (hopefully soon if stahn has anything to say about it) and will not let it happen so easily. THERE WILL BE FUN BICKERING NO DOUBT.

till then? he'll be smiley and sir leon-ing all over the place. chances are that his respect over leon's sword skills will grow immensely after their current spar, too. so yes, all the respect ever!

OH AND YOU PLAY RUBY TOO WHOOPS. ruby he finds to be super sweet and VERY insightful. she picked up on stuff with him and yuri so easily and reassured him in a way that most people wouldn't manage to. just like with mary, he also finds her to be more devious than she looks after the failed date attempt. IT'S ALWAYS THE CUTE ONES. he's also so happy that yuri's found a friend like her. no matter if something happens to flynn, the fact that someone like ruby is also here makes him sure that yuri won't be alone. just, uh, breaking the law ain't cool so please don't encourage that.
