Raven likes Darin! In general, Raven has a tendency to look out for anyone younger than him without necessarily coddling them, so it makes him happy to see Darin's already figuring things out for himself. He seems like a good kid and really earnest in his wanting to use his skills to help people, so Raven will support him all the way. :|b

Haha yeah, Raven's still making up his mind. He doesn't necessarily like or trust Rideaux at this point, but he's happy to be pragmatic about it and just treat their relationship like a business transaction. It's not like he has anything to lose by accepting his help, when they have a common enemy like CERES out to screw them all over, anyway.

He does respect that Rideaux seems to really know his stuff, at least, and it's nice to have someone closer to Raven's own age around to balance out all the kiddies!

HE WILL PROBABLY LIKE HIM EVEN LESS THE MORE HE GETS TO KNOW HIM but yes at least they can be old together and drink to the mutual misery of their shitty lives with their stupid fake organs

He has only perverted thoughts and feelings for the Maid...... I'm sorry Felicia......

...Actually he's not as bad as he likes to act. He didn't even peek when she asked him not to look at her in the intro log! Probably. Maybe.

Raven being a 100% creeper aside, he does feel bad for Felicia getting thrown into that kind of situation. He wouldn't mind meeting her again at some point to ~~hit on her some more~~ check how she's doing.

Yamato and Takeru

Yamato worries about Takeru..... a lot....... Which isn't actually news to anyone, but it's kind of a big deal considering he was starting to place more faith in Takeru and his ability to be mature and deal with things on his own. Cerealia is a very different ball game to the Digital World, so things like Takeru being able to take care of himself and fight with Patamon now aren't as important, when CERES can pull fast ones like the robot double stuff.

Yamato's proud of him that he's managed to get by in the colony without anyone, but he feels angry at all the things CERES put Takeru through, so he wants to do whatever he can to protect him without going back to his old overbearing self. :x He's here for you bro!!

OH and he's pretty much over the Han thing. Yamato was kind of upset at first because he felt like Takeru had replaced their real father with Han, but he realised he was being irrational about it, and Han's actually been very good for Takeru while he's been here.

Raven and Mabel

Raven's fond of Mabel! He likes kids in general and tends to dad at them (or maybe he's more of a sleazy, easygoing uncle...) and he means it when he says he admires Mabel's sense of fun. Even if he doesn't act like it, he tends to get bogged down with negative things, so the reminder to lighten up and have fun every once in a while is a much needed one.

He....... thinks it's unfortunate she has such warped ideas about romance...... but he'll play along with her and ~~pretend to~~ be ~*~faithful to Jibril~*~. Girls are scary and he doesn't want to get yelled at! Her crush on Flynn is pretty cute, too, even if it's doomed.

On this goof?

Raven thinks Yuna seems like a sweet girl, and her mannerisms, occasional awkwardness and the way she carries herself remind him of a certain princess from his world (incidentally also a white mage type!). He doesn't know much about her other than that, but he's already given up on flirting with her now that he knows it has no effect, haha.

He's still a bit dubious about this whole citizen/emperor stuff considering his firsthand experience serving a corrupt empire, so experience tells him there's a lot more to Nero that he hasn't learned yet. But if being a Roman citizen literally just involves hitting on pretty girls he's happy to just keep doing his thing, haha.

THE OLD MAN AND THE PUNK KID

Raven thinks Leon is funny as hell to troll. He loves doing things to get a rise out of people, and Leon is definitely one of those people. It's even funnier when he doesn't realise Raven's doing it.

More seriously, though, Raven's interested in Leon as a knight, but also a bit worried about him. He seems very serious and highly strung for someone his age and has probably Been Through Some Shit. Raven's also kind of worried that someone that cranky must not have a lot of friends, expecially if he's too busy parading around telling the world what a Cool Knight he is. :(

He doesn't know Leon well enough to do much about it, though, but he will keep an eye out for him from a distance! He has a lot of patience for Leon's... Leon-ness... so it'd be hard to offend him even with the constant yelling abuse at Raven, lmfao. Ganbatte, kid!!

Yamato's thoughts on this dude!

Yamato doesn't know Sans very well yet, but he seems like a chill dude, which he can always appreciate, and since they're both older brothers who really care about their siblings, he feels like they understand each other in a way a lot of people couldn't. Which is saying something, since Yamato doesn't exactly make it easy for people to understand him in general.

He also knows Sans has his back, so he can count on him if he ever gets into trouble!

Raven is fond of Flynn. He reminds him a lot of his days in the knights (pre-Schwann) when Alexei still had idealism and integrity in how he lead the knights and hadn't become a power-hungry fanatic. Yuri might find it frustrating that Flynn often refuses to compromise on those ideals, but the fact that Flynn will never take a route of the ends justifying the means will mean that he'll be a way better Commandant compared to Alexei, in his opinion.

Raven's still super uncomfortable with any praise Flynn insists on heaping on Schwann, though -- he has such a low opinion of himself and was at such a low point in his life that he finds it hard to think of any redeeming features he had as a knight. Maybe one day he'll reluctantly begin to acknowledge that Schwann wasn't just an elaborate ruse but a part of him as much as Raven, but until then, expect lots of grumbling and denial. Sorry Flynn!

OH and Raven is really glad Flynn made it to Cerealia, if only because it meant Yuri wasn't on his own that whole time. young friendship so pure, etc

Yamato and Hikari

Yamato's known Hikari for a while now, and he still doesn't really know what to think about her. We've talked about it before, but they're both very quiet and secretive types, so they're not really ones to mesh together without reason (such as Taichi and/or Takeru being around). That said, Yamato really cares about Hikari and would do anything to protect her, both as Taichi's friend and as another Chosen Child.

Cerealia being Cerealia has made him more protective than usual, too. He's unlikely to ever be as close to her as Taichi is to Takeru, but he'll do his best to look out for her!

Raven and Iris

Raven acts like a dumb flirt around Iris, but as with a lot of Raven things, it's mostly just a very self-aware act to avoid people taking him too seriously. Or to lighten the mood by being the dumb comic relief, in the case of the Interlude. He does think she's pretty, but he's not that thirsty, lmao. He won't actually mind if he finds out about her ~*~Feenie~*~.

He's genuinely touched that she stayed with him, even though they were pretty much strangers, and even though he would have preferred her to have left him behind so she didn't have to watch him die. Hopefully she isn't too traumatised by it...... ;; Sorry, Iris.

Raven's a pretty shrewd judge of character, but he doesn't know what to make of Togami yet. He's getting 'stuffy intellectual' vibes, and he gets the impression there's a lot more to Togami than he lets on, since he was a lot more calm about interlude things than someone should have been in his situation. He doesn't think Togami's a bad person, though, and he was happy he was at least able to protect him a little before his untimely demise (◡‿◡✿)

He'd like to keep working with him to stick it to CERES in future! If Togami can bear to interact with this moron more than he ever really needs to, anyway.
