anyway CAL! not!judas is certainly not one of those characters i expected you to pick up but. then again, thinking back, i probably shouldn't be surprised you did.... he's right down your alley. either way not!judas and ruby are both so hilariously different and yet you play them both so accurately i'm amazed.

on one corner you have genki girl protag whose energy you capture so well; her tags are so... ViViD (ha! ha! no) and vivacious and just. it's like ruby was taken straight from canon and just plopped into your hands. also obligatory i love reading her interactions with her cr! comment, especially her and hiro. her and hiro kill me. disney cutes.

leon also kills me but in a different way. him and stahn... ugh... you're always really good at taking those slightly abrasive difficult characters (i'm thinking of a certain triangle here, guess which one) and playing them in a way that makes it seem so effortless, it's sort of amazing? sometimes those types can come off as a little forced in some instances, but leon isn't at all just like A Certain Triangle wasn't.

i need to get cr with ruby too dang BUT CAL!! i'm cracking up bc when i think of you i still sometimes think of genki amnesia murder morgan, who you played stunningly well, but now you're playing the POLAR OPPOSITE and honestly it's still stunningly well... it's amazing how you can just reach into two entirely opposing pools and be like "ah yes, i will now play each one of these flawlessly" LORD. i know nothing about leon except that he deda but he's also been just such a joy to thread with. and you always are too, of course! your tags are fresh and fun and i love that i never really know where to expect where one will go with you... or that you're always down to just indulge me when i go turbomoron... sousei in candyland comes to mind. but yes you're fantastic and you will never shake me from your inbox the end

I might have only known you since Haven, but it's clear that you always bring a strong and vibrant presence to your games. Usually in the form of battle-hungry dark-haired girls. And you've certainly been doing great too! Such a great mix of dorkiness and seriousness in your characters, and it always helps to keep threads engaging. You're a pro, and you're great, and you're incredibly kind, as I still remember that new years loving that was dispensed which I did not properly respond to. I hope you're having a lot of fun and that we keep on having fun times. (This ridiculous fight between Ruby and Lee? That is definitely one of the loveliest threads! Oh, also Hiro and Ruby are the cutest!)

Cal, I have a secret to tell you. I'm painfully canonblind to Tales of Destiny. I do love Leon, though. He's amazing, and I could hear HIkaru Midorikawa in your tags?! LIKE, SHUT UP I know that was an embarrassing thing to say, but it's the truth. (nottalking) HE'S GREAT and I love how you play him and throw him at various types of characters. It's been so interesting to see how he clashes (or """""gets along""""") with others. It's always either painful or hilarious, and that's what I totally signed up for.

Ruby, on the other hand... ah. You have her voice, spot on. You always deliver with her enthusiasm and awkwardness at the same time. Her relationship with Hiro has been one of the most fun things to watch in this game, and if nobody agrees with me then I am ready to FIGHT THEM 9'-')9!!!!

days later and I'm laughing about that poor cat being the embodiment of leon magnus. anyway CAL! oh gosh where do I even begin with you? how do I begin to describe my love for you, let me count the ways, etc etc. I periodically gush at you but playing with you has been some of the most fun I've had for a really long time! I've never played ToD myself but I know a little about it to get the sense of what's going on, but the good thing is that you don't even need to know the canon to know that Leon's a really nicely fleshed out character. I love reading his threads across the board with different people and seeing how he interacts with them. even his threads with hiro and rise are so vastly different it's sort of hilarious. he's such a neat character to watch and I'm so glad you and aly apped these idiots

BUT REALLY!! I've always loved playing with you, Cal. Every type of CR we've ever had, both before Cereal and now has been amazing. And you know I wonder every day how we went so long without something as ridiculously intense as what we've got going on these days and I'm just... ugh. UGH!

How can I put into words how much I love your Leon especially? You capture every side of him so well, the pieces of headcanon that fill in the small blanks that exist are spot-on and he's just... so good. You know I track every thread I can find just because I love seeing what you do with him, I love seeing his interactions and how they affect his other interactions. And I love playing with him so much. IT IS ALMOST KILLING ME WRITING THIS INSTEAD OF TAGGING BACK THREADS because it's just that important to me on the scale of RP-things in my life. We hemmed and hawed so much about where to app and them and when... and every day, I'm so glad we settled on bringing them here and just trying to work through every issue and make something of these sad punk best friends.

You know I'm eternally glad that you fell into Destiny and reminded me what I loved about it so I could fall back and do what I'd wanted to for years—playing Stahn. Being able to play him off of Leon has given me so much inspiration to keep going even when I want to quit, and I wouldn't have been able to do that without you.

I have pretty damn strong feelings about Ruby and Yuri too—I'm still canonblind af to RWBY, but every character you've ever played that I was familiar with was too spot-on for me to even have doubt about how great you are with her. Her dynamic is so good and I know I've said this, but she's definitely the person that Yuri is closest to outside of his dingus best friend and his dog which is such a huge thing for someone who tries so hard to keep his distance given the nature of the jamjar life.

I HAVE MANY THINGS TO SAY ABOUT FRIENDSHIP IN GENERAL but that would be like a legit novel and even though I want to say them all I will save that for... not here.... ??? shut up i do what i waNT

You're so stellar at playing someone who has qualms about letting people get close, it's always so challenging to play people who push others away but you do it with such finesse and without sacrificing ICness for ease of tagging; that kind of balance isn't easy to strike, but you've done it and you really do set a gold standard for how that sort of thing should be handled. I admire it every day, there's not a thing about your Leon that isn't extremely impressive. ♥ I'm canonblind on both of your characters, but Ruby's also been an absolute joy to stalk when you link her threads, how is she so Disney adorable... ugh, my heart melts, tbh.

As for Ruby—honestly I had no idea what to expect ever from their threads and I love that so much. It feels so organic and spontaneous and just...natural. CAL, you are a really versatile RPer, you play a wide range of characters and you play them so well, each voice is very distinct. I'm super happy with the CR we've gotten, from past games up to now when Sousei was sensei to Edgeworth and Edgeworth is getting closer to Ruby. I would also like to say that she's really adorable.

HAHA Cal you always say how my Jaune voice is so perfect, but I never felt like I had a good grasp on it until I saw your Ruby, the way she talks, and it kind of made me step up and learn how to translate RT humor into writing form. BASICALLY you're an incredible castmate and THANK YOU for all the encouragement, like seriously, you're the last person who should comment on any of my Love HMDs considering how many times you've done it before. as for your characters, they're both great. i'm canonblind to ruby, but i've loved threading with her so far. i'd love for her and flynn to get to know the other more so that she can see how big an idiot the guy really is. then again, she probably expects that much considering the guy's yuri's friend, huh? reading threads with her and yuri and other people is also really enjoyable.

then there's leon. good ol grumpy rosebud. you play him perfectly. his voice comes across nice and clear in his tags. he's this overgrown brat of a knight who loves his stupid puppy best friend and you nail him. i'm super excited for more threads between him and flynn, maybe even an apology meal later, too. he feels so bad BUT THANK YOU SIR ROSEBUD FOR YOUR HONESTY!! also, you and aly have gotten me to ship them. i honestly used to not like them as a ship, but you two play them so well and just make the ship likable. i occasionally stalk your musebox stuff IT IS ALL SO GOOD.
