Angelo's game aka DQ8 is actually coming out on the 3DS this year along with DQ7! If you have one, I'd say pick it up.

Boyfriend does have a 3DS. Though the only game I've got and played with it so far is Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance yet. I've been considering a couple of others though, when I have the money for it.
