Job: Art appraiser - I'm not sure how many other characters work in the art industry, but I'd love to form some connections! Alternatively, someone to act as client.
Personality: Calm and curious sort who never raises his voice but still carries an air of knowing what to do. Tightly self controlled and projects a friendly, charming face to the world, but very much merciless and monstrous under the surface and lacking any fear of death. Manipulative, smart, and adaptive to situations, as well as remorselessly thieving of what he considers worthwhile. Completely devoted to his friends to the point of self-sacrifice and placing their survival above his.
Current Activities: Right now Chrollo's still finding his feet in the colony, with his job, with exploring the place fully, and with taking in the burst of info that came in just with this wave of newbies. (Eye implants, seriously?) So at the moment he has no concrete things aside from working and setting up general training to keep himself at his physical best, though he's liable to disappear into the library for hours to be surrounded by books and read in peace. And he's also feeling out the fact that being brought here means his powers are back with him, offering a degree of freedom he's pleased to have.
Seeking: "Literally everything" isn't useful, so! More people for him to get along with would always be good - he'd connect well with people who have an appreciation for the beautiful as well as shadier types as he's going to inevitably starting testing the waters in the colony underworld as soon as he gets an opportunity. People to clash with would also be good, as his ways can be sort of offputting and he asks more questions than maybe he should, and he's also not auto buying that CERES is so horrifically terrible which could lead to interesting conflicts. Tied to that, people who are willing to be questioned about what they know about the place and elaborate on some things mentioned in that helpful IC document for newbies.
Anything else: Permissions post for his major powers, just in case!

lmao more CR i didn't know i wanted. she's an artist, he's a dealer. she likes crime apparently, he steals things. she likes reading, he likes reading... ANYWAY what i'm saying is that i'm up for the fabled "literally everything". she'd act as a liaison for underworld contacts in a heartbeat.

bless you, Rapunzel, this makes me think they need to meet ASAP to connect over something. be it her art or reading practically everything they can lay their hands on, because the potential in this cr is great.

sounds fantastic! I was thinking some sort of challenge involving nen and "shoot down these things before they kill you" for Zero, which might not match up to any thresher maw but he tried?

that works! borderlands and zero being what they are i think zero would nail it, but not without difficulty—so they might end up seeking chrollo out for more challenges/training later.

I'm here for fellow shady people as well... Souji doesn't actually know very much about CERES but he's willing to try aka do really dumb things in an effort to learn more, so Chrollo could possibly work with that?? He 100% believes that CERES is annoying and terrible so they can possibly clash on that point too.

Oh, he can definitely work with that, especially if Souji's the sort who can be talked into questionable plans. As for them clashing over CERES, Chrollo would use that as more incentive to push him towards learning more in a sort of "well, get the info and prove my opinion wrong" way, if Souji would be receptive to that!

I haven't HxHed before, but the characters were always interesting to me and that includes Chrollo. I'd love CR w/ him and my OC esper if you don't mind!

I think it would be interesting to see if they both get along initially since Ai still struggles to get to know people's true nature beneath the surface (she tries....) She's someone with a lot of power, but has been doing a lot of growing up in terms of having resolve and balancing it with her usual good nature haha.

All depends on the first impression, I imagine! With the event coming up, I'm sure there's a way to have them run into each other, even if it's just comparing notes on the carnival food.
