But he spots an outside landing near by (it looks like a fire exit, maybe) that would make a decent jumping point. He figures out the best maneuver here in the few seconds it takes him to dash up the stairs and get onto the landing. He hops up on the railing and then leaps up. He manages to get one arm around Elle's waist and uses his other to form a fist and smash it into the drone, sending it sideways while the two of them fall toward the ground. That definitely hurts without a bracer but it's a minor pain as he makes an almost graceful landing with Elle under his arm.
Well he got Elle but, uh... sorry Rollo. He might not be able to get him until they attempt to drop him down the chute. Hopefully the generously proportioned feline doesn't get stuck in it...] Are you all right, Elle?
