Okay, so really, Mary gravitates to Ene not because she knows her really well, but because she's a member of the Mekakushi Dan and she's a bit of home that Mary still sorely missed. So Ene is largely a mystery, but she is one of them, which means Mary is more inclined to trust her and worry about her more and go to her when there are things bothering her.
(Yes, Ene is going to have to play Love Expert soon, I hope you're ready.)
But yes ANYWAY she admires Ene's perkiness and cheer and just how capable she seems, because hardly anything seems to ruffle her. Of course, she's curious as to how someone can live in technology, but she's also just glad that Ene has a solid form now. It doesn't make her any less curious about her origins, but Ene is Ene. If she ever wants to talk about herself, Mary will happily listen.
