Mary on Malia: I'm pretty sure Mary likes her, it's just that talking to Malia makes her feel kind of inferior, because she's obviously more bold and cool (except when there are rose petals everywhere around her) and nothing seems to scare or faze her, so she's... pretty much like the exact opposite of Mary. Still, Malia doesn't seem all that bad, and it's not as though Mary can't sympathize or relate to not being human and what that means, or being homesick for your friends. WE WILL HAVE A COMPLETE THREAD OKAY!!

Yang on Hawke: OKAY SO HAWKE IS A LOT OF FUN?? And a dog lover and hilarious, so of course Yang enjoys talking to her and seeing what her opinion is of things. And, you know, doing shared dog walks, because it's hilarious to see Zwei prancing along next to a Mabari. They don't have too many serious talks, but if Hawke ever needed some girly bonding or girl talk, Yang will make herself readily available. She's just that cool, even if she doesn't know all that much about her and where she comes from. But she knows the look of someone who's fought some shit before, so COMRADE.
