damn you

sousei is hawke's cerealia bff. except not really but he definitely is one of the first person she thinks about when cerealia goes to shit -- though she automatically assumes he can handle it. still, in terms of "people hawke hopes had a good day" sousei's on that list. it's a very short list. hawke's been dealing with her own stuff as of recently and in that, sousei's one of the people she's considering in her own like, reassessment of cerealia. should she try to help? should she continue to do nothing? hashtag what would abe no sousei do? she really dos respect and admire him in her own hawke sort of way. she'd kind of actually be sad if he left.

but this is also hawke so she keeps wondering when his fake exasperation with her will turn into real exasperation. like a test of loyalties that hawke probably shouldn't be playing. especially with that canon update of his, she's wondering where the lines are drawn and when will she finally step over them. hawke's kind of a nihilist.

leon is a punk ass kid that hawke thinks is hilarious. she's not sure if they'll see each other more than the once but she also knows how cerealia works at this point and kind of assumes they will. she cares zero amount atm about any emotional depth this guy has though, just thinks it's funny that he has this chip on his shoulder he's waving around everywhere. you're going to poke someone's eye out with that, leon!

but hawke is still incredibly unsympathetic and anyone who talks to people like leon talks to people needs their teeth kicked in. hawke will happily do the job.

ruby rooooose is a cute kid that hawke enjoys talking to. she likes her sister more at the moment because yang seems more up her alley but ruby's sweet and sometimes says things that surprises a laugh out of hawke. she's also incredibly impressed by her weapon of choice and definitely wants to take ruby on, to see if she can beat it -- but she also wonders if she can fight ruby at all since hawke fights so... dirty... and ruby is a tiny child. hawke's kind of forgotten how to fight with honor.

that said, she really does dig whenever she runs into ruby because it is without fail an interesting and hilarious conversation. she also kind of wonders what kind of place ruby comes from because with ruby, yang, and jaune -- some of her favorite cerealia people hail from the same place. that's pretty cool. either way, girl is on her faves list even if hawke's pretty shrug worthy about it. one day she'll straight up realize ruby is actually a tiny version of herself but not yet!
