Yang on Archer: I feel like he's probably one of Yang's favorite banter buddies, and that's not an easy title to claim. She thinks he could stand to chill a little more, and his stories are not very happy at all, and he's not a very subtle storyteller ANYWAY and wow he just kind of sucks at stuff like socializing properly. But his food is very good and he's fun to speak with, so she'd call him a friend even if he tries to act all standoffish about it. ARCHER GEEZ.

Mary on Archer: Mary, in contrast, is still kind of too nervous to call Archer a friend, but definitely cares about his well-being. He's always been there to help protect her, and despite what he says about the majority of his reasoning being that she looks like his sister, she still appreciates everything he's done for her and how he tries to help her defend herself. It's just she's still not that good, so she can't help but wonder if he'd be disappointed in her. BUT STILL, HE IS A GOOD PERSON. She wholeheartedly believes that and no one is going to be able to tell her differently.
