Ruby likes Chibi quite a lot! They have completely different world views, which is hilarious when you think about it; Chibi is calm and old-minded and poised and Ruby is young and chipper and always going much too fast, but somehow it still works. She likes him because he's nice and he's always been willing to talk to her, and he never condescends to her at all. He's always been a good, dependable friend.
But she also has this weird need to take care of him too. Partially because he's so calm and laid-back, Ruby worries that he doesn't hold onto things that he wants as tightly as he should. She wants to remind him that it's okay to want things and like things and everything!!! Everything is okay!!
So she's happy to just cheer him on and try to bring some brightness into his life, because he really does deserve it, and she thinks he's a wonderful friend.
