Hiro cannot even describe how much he adores the crap out of Korra. She was one of his first friends here and has remained a good friend to both Hamadas and he's very grateful for that. He often times forgets she's the Avatar! She's just Korra to him who can bend elements and has a cute polar bear dog and she's kind and she's adventurous and she's brave and she wants to save people like he does. They've been through a lot together and he'd do anything to protect her, and most importantly he knows that she'll fight right by his side when needed. They're the type of friends who'll snoop around together and call each other up because they know the other wants answers just as badly and it's just easier to go together.

He's definitely holding her to that probending match though, just to see if they can make it happen.
